The brakes of the truck were really bad and that made the things really difficult for me . As i had to drive very cautiously and as i had very less time i could not replace the truck. I really am not very happy with the service . They need to keep the trucks well maintained. Thankyou

I rented the truck for 4 hours (1 pm - 5 PM) and returned it right on time before 5 PM. The truck wasn't checked in until the next day in the afternoon and I was charged for 2 days. I had to call to have this corrected. It's corrected but this is unacceptable. If I didn't check my credit card account, I wouldn't know this error. This shouldn't have happened.

There is NEVER a place to park. Here’s why. The employees are slower than Christmas so there are always a lot of customers parked outside waiting to be helped. I took a photo of the long line behind me waiting. It’s pathetic.

Horrible customer service. Vernon Sutherland has no business in customer service or management. Wouldn't respond to any questions I had and did not even make eye contact with me. The same thing with the woman I dealt with the next day. She was certainly concerned with making her coffee and chatting with some other employee about personal matters. She made it clear that I was inconviencing her amd then went on a five minute tirade about how she didn't want to have to go outside because it was cold. Again, not a single question answered, but repeated over and over about how happy she would be to overcharge me for gas when I brought the truck back. She told me I would be credited for returning the truck early and then when I had a question about it, immediately contradicted her statement and denied she had even said it! The staff at this location is doing an excellent job of ruining Uhaul's reputation. Further, they have guaranteed that I will never use Uhaul again and I will do my best to dissuade anyone from using your 'services'. I spent a couple of thousand dollars at Uhaul this year and had planned on using Uhaul again, but after today... FORGET IT!

Online truck reservation isn't great. I was picking up two 26' trucks at the beginning of the week and a 15', a 20', and a 26' truck at the end of the week. At the end of the week, I changed my order because at the beginning of the week, I reserved two 26' trucks at this location to be told (when I came in to double-check things earlier in the week) that there weren't two at that location. I could either pick one up here and another one up at another location, or change my order to a 26' truck and a 20' truck. So I changed my order to keep me from having to go to two locations. I suppose the gentleman helping me didn't necessarily cancel the 26' at another location though, and I got a text the day before the reservation that my truck was ready for pickup at another location. A little irked (I had no other communication and I figured that "oh well, I guess he didn't change my reservation"), I headed to this other location and had a colleague pick up the other one at the original location. Lo and behold, he found that there was a 26' and a 20' ready to be picked up! I just wish that I was told that the 20' was ready and I didn't have to go get another truck at another location. All in all, it added 20 miles round trip and took away loading time. At the end of the week was a little worse. The online system automatically saw the same name on three different reservations (we use a company card) and canceled the third reservation (15' truck) without letting us know. When we got there, we had to go through the entire process of picking up the 15' truck that we had already done online. But that's not all! While I was there with one other colleague (this time we were picking up three trucks instead of two), I made sure the third truck was all ready to be picked up by my third colleague, who was coming a little bit later. He didn't have any of the payment info, so I made sure this location had it and the ID information of my colleague coming to pick up the truck. Lo and behold, when he got there, the third truck (26') was in the repair shop! It could not be driven. He had to go to another location (wasting time, money, and mileage once again). Why, I ask, was I not told that the truck was in the shop when I was there an hour before, doing all I could to make sure the last truck (26') was ready to be easily picked up? In conclusion, I am not happy with U-Haul's online reservation system. Either it needs to communicate with boots-on-the-ground employees better, or be re-Hauled completely.

The 10' truck that I had reserved was not available the day I was going to pick it up. U-Haul rented me the 15' for the same price since it was their mistake. I was happy with the why they resolved the issue.
