I have rented from U-Haul, Penske and others many times in my 67 years of life and I must say this was the worst experience yet. Mike the manager/employee or whatever he is had no clue in what he was doing and didn't understand the billing procedure for U-Haul. My bill which originally started at $65 when we called to reserve the 20 ft truck, quickly climbed to $171 after Mike added all the said fees, charges, etc. The funny thing is they had a sign out front that stated $19.99 for all local moves, which ours was. My question is....why didn't Mike offer us this deal? Mike was not very good at explaining fees and seemed to just want to blame U-Haul for extra fees and would not work with us to help lower our rental amount. When I asked him about military discounts he said there were none. I spent nearly 30 years serving my country and have always received discounts for rental moving equipment. Mike should not be working with the public as he was not helpful at all. When I looked at my credit card charges after I turned the truck back in after a 24 hr rental...I noticed Mike had billed me for (2) days at $171 each and then topped it off with an extra $142 charge for who knows what. I had to spend the next hour on the phone with U-Haul trying to get this problem rectified. The representative at Haul was very helpful and after a couple of days my credit card bill was correct...at least I think so. When I told Mike what had happened...he seriously could have cared less. Wasn't his problem....told me to call U-Haul. I would seriously think about not letting Mike work with the public anymore. He gives U-Haul a bad name to say the least.

PAUL TGreat place for rental.
Vilaivanh SEverything pertaining to the rental was great.
BRIAN MEducate the customer rep. After we twice told him the location we were planning on dropping off, he somehow wrote the wrong city. We called him and asked him to change it, but he said if it was a one-way (it was) we could drop it off anywhere. After we dropped off at our planned location we were charged for "wrongdropoff" $19. Is this a scam you are running?
