The trailer should have a jack by the hitch to disconnect the trailer. It had to be lifted by hand to put on the truck and disconnect from the truck. Otherwise it handled well behind the pick up.

I had a bad experience as a customer with the manager of the gas station/U-Haul rental service. The manager was completely fine with renting substandard equipment. When I was unable to use the equipment due to several issues, the manager/attendant of the gas station refuse to refund my money or suggest another option that would meet my needs. The attendant blamed me as a customer for accepting and paying for the equipment and said that it was my fault and there was nothing that she was going to consider doing to resolve the issue. Fortunately, I was able to reach out to the U-Haul regional director who was very considerate and understood my issue and was able to refund my money without any issue. My advice for potential customers is to consider all other U-Haul locations first before patronizing this location.
ALPHONZO WThey gave a lot of things going on at this location ( gas station/liquor store/fried chicken place/UHaul), which can make it very discombobulating to figure out the rental return process.
