My reservation was at 7am. The place doesn’t open until 8am. The keys weren’t in the truck and when I called I was told that I had to wait until 8am. What’s the point of a 7am reservation if you have to wait until 8. Super annoying. Ruined my day and made everything way more complicated than it needed to be. If you don’t allow reservations before 8am don’t let someone make a reservation at 7am that’s stupid. I would never use any U-Haul again after this. Absolute foolishness.I wish I could rate lower than 1 star.

Rafael TThe clerk was very helpful in helping me go through the rental process since I arrived with a dead phone and no way to do it myself. He used his phone and even charged my phone for a few minutes so I could get a 2nd phone number from my phone. The one thing I did not like at all was all the extra charges U Haul hides from the customer until they arrive to pick up the rental. Taxes and a $15 insurance charge that was hidden from me until I dropped off the truck. Not Emporium's issue, but U-Haul knows for sure that the customer is going to come in thinking they can rent that truck for $30, only to find out later- when they have no other options- to pay over double that amount. Shame on you, U-Haul!
