When arriving with my rented 10' Uhaul to Missouri, inclement weather warnings predicted 6+ inches of snow. We were able to unload the truck in time; however, poor road conditions didn't allow for a timely return of the 10' Uhaul rental. The truck was stuck in our driveway spinning only one wheel. I did not feel comfortable driving it away from our property. I spoke with a woman on Monday, January 4th, 2021, at the return location - located in Brother's Market, 402 E Price St, Savannah, MO 64485 - asking for other solutions around the Uhaul's inability to travel down a slightly snowy surface. She contacted Uhaul in Kansas City, Missouri, and spoke with a man on the phone. She was not able to receive any information regarding my reservation. She let me know that it is "not Uhaul's fault that the truck is unable to travel down the road" and that she estimated "the additional fees to be around $150." I contacted Uhaul Corporate using the "Contact Us" link on the Uhaul website. I spoke with a gentleman named Kevin Taylor; he asked for photo-proof of the Uhaul stuck in our driveway, which I supplied. He assured me that any late charges would be void upon return to Brother's Market and noted this on the reservation with a photo attachment. The 10' Uhaul was towed to Brother's Market, arriving at 2:31 pm CST on Monday, January 4, 2021. Additional charges to my card ending in ****9924 totaled $67.75. The woman at Brother's Market stated that she is “unable to view any information provided by Uhaul Corporate.” Therefore I am responsible for $40 in late charges. I was also charged $24.38 for "EZ Fuel Sales," as I returned the truck with a half tank of gas. Going back to what the attendant in Nashville mentioned, I should not be responsible for this charge, as I returned the truck with as much gas as I received it. None of these charges matched the promise I received from Kevin on the phone. I am perplexed by these incidents and would like to be contacted directly regarding this issue.

The 6 x 12 trailer I rented was packed with mud over the outside. I cannot believe they can't wash they're trailers.

Both pick-up and drop off locations are good businesses. The only problem I had was that I reserved a 10ft truck and car dolly, but was given a 17 ft truck and car transport. I asked about some type of gas re-embersment but was told at both locations that it would have to be done thru corporate and could take 4-6 weeks to get anything accomplished. When I reserved the truck I needed a budgeted gas based on that peticular size and not for the larger truck or transport. I feel that all the locations should have the ability to at least offer some sort of gas card or re-embersment for the inconvenience of having a larger truck and tow trailer. This complaint is mostly for the corporate offices! Not the locations!

I arrived 15 minutes before my scheduled pickup time. I was told the only person there that knew how to use the system was on lunch. I waited 25 minutes for him to return. He spent 30-45 minutes trying to check me out. He kept saying the system says I can't use a Silverado to tow a FWD Equinox! When he eventually printed the paperwork I signed it and left. After leaving I noticed he charged my card for trip insurance I did not want. I found the equipment and hooked up by myself.

Tires were flat so had swap with different trailer. I used the trailer one day then my vehicle got stuck in the grass due to excessive rain. The trailer wasn't stuck but my vehicle couldn't pull the wait in the slick grass quickly turning to mud. I called the place I rented it from and explained I was done with the trailer but because of the rain the ground was to muddy to pull it. But informed them it was not being used. The store manager ensured me that I would not be charged for the extra day as it was not refusing to return the trailer just weather working against me and with the covid 19 stuff couldn't get anyone out to haul it out. The rain continued every day not allowing the ground to dry and two days later my card was charged for $200 when it was a $30 rental. You should not inform a customer that they are ok and it's understood how this could be an issue and tell them it's ok the hit them with a 200$ bill that u can't afford. I feel it was a very poor experience and it caused me much stress and money witch shorted me on bills. So no. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone unless uhaul made it right by following through with the managers promise.

Had to drive two hours to pick up a truck from the Omaha area. The closest truck was in savannah Missouri and had to drive two hours each way from Omaha and back to get our move to Colorado accomplished. This was very inconvenient and wasted most of the day we could have been packing etc. otherwise the truck and the move went well

We originally scheduled out pick up for Saturday morning in Maryville. I called Friday to verify with parsons tire and was told they weren't open on Saturday and didn't have the truck we needed. Called uhaul back, they rescheduled us to pick up in Savannah and since they was 30 minutes from our location, I ask to pick it up Friday at 3:30-4:00. Uhaul called us at 3:50 Friday and said if we weren't there at 4:30 they were giving the truck to someone else because we had rescheduled twice. First of all we weren't late, we got there at four and second, we rescheduled because uhaul set it up wrong to begin with. Brothers market was great. He gave us 50 free miles since the changed pickup location put us 50 mile out of our way. We have used uhauls a lot and the pickup arrangements never go smoothly.

When reserved the web site indicated Westline Hardware (ACE) as the drop-off, then I find out I have to drive an additional 60 miles to drop off in Savannah. Thanks for the bait and switch.

Your scheduling center screwed up. Made a reservation sept. 7th for Oct. 10. called u haul Oct 9 to reset date to Oct 14 for pick up. and where was the most convenient, 2 miles from home. was assured all was well. went to pick up, and the local had no record. no assignment had been made. had to spend an extra hour going to a location 12 miles away to pick up. wanting answers for the above questions has no bearing on your central reservations screw up!

The customer service people from Uhaul that called to tell me the 20 ft truck we reserved o line were HORRIBLE. I was appalled at her attitude. How can a company just change someones reservation from 20 foot to 15 foot? We had to make other additional arrangements. I get it that you have no competition in the moving business but that is no excuse to treat people like crap and offer NO CONCESSIONS. The people at Brothers were awesome but the actual uhaul people need a lesson in how to treat people. Or the company needs to change your business practices.

The back of the truck had not been cleaned out by the previous user. Also the truck's back hauling door came off the hinge, which made it difficult to finish moving. The costumer service at Brother's in Savannah was okay.

My issues were more with U Haul than Brothers market. 1. Had a U Haul reserved in Maryville at Ace Hardware for 6:30 on May 24th. Went to pick up no Trailer available. Was told trailer would be ready 8 am next day at Brothers Market. Went to pu trailer they said U Haul guy didn't arrive till 9. Mgr was able to get trailer for me. 2. I asked about hitch ball size was told 2”. Glad there was an Orschelin's next door had to buy 1 7/8” ball
