It was just an empty lot with no attendant. Just a drop box. I had an issue with milage due to having to be rerouted because of a car fire. That caused me to go over the milage by a little bit. I was hoping to get that adjusted but there was no one there to speak to. Otherwise truck was clean ,everything worked, and it road very nice
ROBERT RFew things… maybe I am getting old and crotchety but got the combination and there isn’t a single mention to turn the lockbox to get the keys out. So it took me several minutes of fidgeting with it to realize how to open the lockbox. I paid the same amount for renting a U-Haul and did all the work! I’d rather pay to have someone else take all the pictures when I return the truck. I get the beauty of having a machine that runs on its own generating revenue but returning and snapping pictures of every angle of the truck after returning felt like a bit much. Especially after moving a bunch of stuff! And why is it mandatory to answer whether I’d refer you a friend? My answer is maybe but since it’s mandatory I’m saying no.
Erik SDrop-off location office was closed on day of drop-off and no contact phone number was posted anywhere near the office. No personnel/employees around. Fortunately, there were other U-Haul trailers on site, so it seemed I had the right place. It was, however, the only clue that I had the right place. Was able to find a telephone number through an internet search and left a message indicating that that the trailer was dropped off. Received timely email from U-Haul recognizing receipt of trailer so at least I knew my message had been received. Contact numbers should be posted at the office on site and should not require the customer to perform extraordinary internet searches for contact information. It would also have been better if U-Haul had provided a name and telephone number of the business instead of just an address.
