The truck was bouncing around on the road and the interior was fairly dirty when picked up. I also got an extra charge without explanation.Dakota D.
Worst experience i have had with any Uhaul facility ever and i have over 100 rentals in my 11 years owning my Company. They threatened my wife to call the police on me for theft because they couldnt reach me while i was in the Incline Village mountains on an installation with poor cell service. I left a messge early telling them to extend my rental and they still did that. Plus they charged me $50 cleaning fee when all i left was a free moving blanket i was going to give them. I actually cleaned the van. Not to mention that Van had 3 check engine lights blinking.Kenneth C.
I also hired movers through the website, who did nothing but complain, informed me that Uhaul lied to me about the sizer of the truck because they got rid of all the 17' trucks and gave me a 14', and all of my things won't fit in the truck I rented. Complained about how much I had to move including the weight. Told me "I have another 5-hour job after this and I'm exhausted from this move already" They took their time and just before 2 hours I told them we have to get over to the new place as I only paid for 3 hours. They charged me an additional hour of labor and I still had to rent another truck, and load the remaining items myself the following day. I'd suggest removing this company from your site.Sheila F.
The company changed my reservation last minute to a new location. Our appointment was for 7:15 at the South Meadows location and right when we got there we had a message stating that the reservation was moved to a new location. The new location didn't open till 9:00 so we had to wait 2 hours to get our truck to start moving. We had to also change our appointment time and tell the movers that we didn't need them till later. This was a real issue for us as we both had to work later in the day and had to call our jobs to see if we could come in later. They also stated we would be getting a deal when I was in the phone of $19 and a mileage discount but that wasn't shown in the contract. Still paid full price. Not very happySydne H.

Driving off the lot already 40 minutes later than expected from this location being opened we found that our Uhaul had a flat front left tire. We aired up on our own, informed the customer service representative and he let me know to bring it up to the manager the next day. I only had help to move my home until 1 and this really put pressure when the help left and I had to do the rest of the move with only myself and one other person for a 2000 sf ft home. This is why I chose not to return that day as I needed to be moved out by midnight of that day so time was not a luxury. When I returned that evening and dropped off I noted these items in the online drop off and still haven't received a callback for this. I am asking if there is a way to reimburse me for the cost of the rental for the inconvenience of the lateness of the location opening up and the flat tire. Thank you for any consideration. Old man at location was deplorable and rude. Truck broke down 50miles out of town. Called location and roadside.. no help! Got truck started the next day on my own after driving back to location. Old guy told me it wasn't documented( which it was! TWICE!) told me I would be charged a second day. Got invoice. Wasn't charged second day but was charged an extra gas fee.. the guy behind me came out and told me the old guy wouldn't even rent to him because he was I. A bad mood.. wow! Never againJami K.

I have rented with Uhaul several times before. The check is usually streamlined but does take some time to do. I walked into the Uhaul gave my info and ID and got a printout right away and someone pulled the vehicle up immediately. As I am checking out the truck I checked for my ID and noticed I wasn't given my ID back. I wished I looked at the contract closer because the drop off location had changed from what I entered online. I was unable to do after hours drop off because of this. I tried to call the next morning to change it but he said he could not help and I had to do it at the new drop off location.David V.
