The staff was super friendly and helpful. The vehicle itself needed maintenance badly. Tires were getting low and the battery connection was weak, causing the vehicle to not start. I had to figure it out on my own. When I asked if I could replace the battery and get reimbursement, I was told to wait. It would be much easier if Uhaul would let the customer make necessary fixes and get reimbursement. But I understand why they don't. Right before I got to my destination, some lights came on on the dashboard. I was able to temporarily fix my problems. The lady with roadside assistance who really didn't help me at all and has poor communication skills, acted like WE (she and I), fixed it as a team. She didn't do anything but take forever to find out she couldn't find a technician at my location. I then had to call another roadside rep for a status update on a technician, because the first lady failed to keep me updated.

Awesome customer service
VICKIE BI had a hard time finding this location in the dark/fog. I missed seeing another U-Haul truck parked at the location and drove right by the site before turning around and finding it minutes later. We parked the two trucks I rented in the parking area after the location had closed for the day at 5:00 PM and took the keys to the two trucks with me, as I didn't think it was safe to leave the keys inside the truck. The next morning I called the location to let them know I was delivering the keys immediately. When I arrived at the location, the gent on duty let me know his unhappiness at me parking in front of one of his large doors where he couldn't get other vehicles out of the garage. I apologized profusely, and he seemed his displeasure seemed to recede. Aside from this, everything was good.
gary kI reserved a truck at the N. Division location in Spokane. Two days prior to pick up, I received a message that they would not have a truck and I would need to go to a location in Airway Heights. This change required last minute arrangements to secure a ride out to that location. The truck was not already on site and a representative had to drive it out. This was curious as I didn't understand why the representative couldn't drive it out to my original location for pick-up, which was chosen due to proximity my home. The second pick up facility was 40 minutes away. My resulting frustration in logistics is separate from the friendly assistance of the associates assisting in person.
KELLY NSeamless experience origin to destination. Good customer service, good trucks, the app is great very convenient and helpful and returning the rigs was a breeze. You all needs a slogan on the side of their trucks that says, "U-Haul - moving America." I would also recommend putting the 1-800 U-Haul phone number on all the trucks. There was a small glitch with the packing blankets, but FinishTech made it right immediately and I was down the road a happy customer.
