The woman at the pickup location was nice enough but holy cow was this the most unprofessional setting I've ever entered and the most unprofessional transaction I've ever had. Upon entering the building I was smacked in the face with the heavy smell of cigarette smoke. I encountered a woman and her unruly caged parrot. The parrot is a rescue parrot with a story and hes funny but hes so loud and consistently talking so hearing each other speak was near impossible. Between the noise and feeling my throat close up from the smoke smell, i kept having to excuse myself to go outside and "get my water" or call someone just to escape the smell and nausea and noise. Her wifi was either down or slow. She couldn't pull up my reservation until she called haul twice and then just did everything on her phone which was extremely uncomfortable when she started asking for information I'd already provided uhaul the app (credit card number, 2 separate emergency contacts). The whole process took nearly 45 min to get through and I smelled like smoke by the time I left. Moving with an irritated throat and sinuses for the next several hours made moving in the heat even more unpleasant as well. I would NEVER go back here again or recommend it to a friend.
