I reserved a truck last week and I went through the Express Check-in process the day before I needed the truck. I went to pick up the truck at the location specified, and there wasnâ€™t a truck there. I had to travel back 20 miles, past a place I had already driven by, just to pick up a truck. I had people scheduled to help me move, and this change threw off the schedule for my entire day. The worst part was inconveniencing people who were helping me. No one called to let me know of this issue beforehand, and no one had an explanation. On top of this, I had to pay for the gas to fill up the truck for the extra mileage from having to pick it up further away than I had scheduled. Overall, this was a very poor experience for me, and service was not good at all. People I talked with over the phone were very short, and did not care to speak with me.

When we picked the truck up it less than a 1/2 tank of gas. The truck cargo area leaked all the way doe the left top side and wet all of my living room furniture and 4 boxes of clothes

The owner was so confrontational we were having to pick up 56 miles away from where we originally reserved the lady on the phone from Jackson was very rude. We get there finally 2 hrs late and this man was so wanting a confrontation my husband was so upset at him! My husband went to fill it up walked around seen damage that wasnâ€™t ever shown to us stops back by and all the man would say was You have insurance donâ€™t you! Well yes sir we do but weâ€™re not gonna report it to our insurance company for something we didnâ€™t do! He was so unprofessional I will never return there EVER!

The ppl here has very poor customer service skills they treat they customer like trash talk to u any kinda way didnâ€™t give me no paper contract to even know what my gas mileage need to be upon return didnâ€™t know what time to return the truck I was so nervous in there how he watch me like I was a criminal or something Mr. Ronnie Magee has a very nasty attitude and Iâ€™m leaving this comment on behalf of my fiancÃ© Brian Badon because I was on the phone the whole time and I witnessed how he was treated I wouldnâ€™t refer this location to a enemy better yet a animal cause thatâ€™s what he treats his customers like I have never went through this with no other uhaul location I was over charged for the smallest truck u can possibly rent all because I didnâ€™t have a contract to even know what time to return the truck nor gas mileage so unprofessional

The location closed several hours early. I arrived at 4pm they were closed. Tragic could not contact the regional. Tragic did the contract over the phone and I hooked up myself.

Please advise your reservation lady to notify customers that the u haul truck will not be picked up at the brookhaven business. It was a good thing I went by her office the day before to obtain info as to where I was to pick up the keys. I found out I had to go to Tylertown.

Picked up 26ft truck for 2200 mile trip---30 miles into trip check oil light came on. I checked level and it was barely showing oil dip stick. (call customer service and was told to just add oil and would be reimbursed like that makes it all better --and when asking how much to add when oil is at low level( my ford manual tells me that)(and oil was barely on stick) the representative ( and his supervisor whom he called for backup had no answer). When adding the oil I found the oil fill cap jammed on and had to use a pair of channel locks to loosen---Three quarts later its at full. So now I have full confidence in this truck for a 4 day 2300 mile trip--yea right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! at the end of the first day discovered the interior light and aux power plug was inop after my phone died talking to my chase vehicle while going thru Dallas. Thanks again U-Haul quality control! Windshield wipers also worn out --I replaced the driver side. After checking oil every stop I found the level drop about 3/4 quart over the trip--- who knows how many checkout sites its been thru with no oil added. It was a relief turning it in ( and I had to pat it on the side goodby for making it). I can imagine the logistics nightmare of maintaining any rental fleet. I had only one truck in my area available --So maybe the deal is if possible checkout and choose a good truck like you used to have to do with a horse and renter beware.

I had to go to this U-Haul location again after I already mentioned to U-Haul that I did not like this location. The person who was checking me in could not even bother to say "Hi, how are you doing today sir?" This time the person was at least bearable because I wrote a review about the location before. Like I said before, U-Haul needs to get a another location.

This pick-up location was horrible. The environment was not inviting. The person could not even say hi. He was extremely rude, even when I asked him a question. When I got there, my reservation would not go through. When I finally got my U-Haul, the man in charge did not even come to show me which truck was mine. He did not mark any of the problems with the truck. I did not even get a receipt with all the charges listed. U-Haul needs to get another pick-up location in Tylertown to fix this issue.

When I made a reservation two days before the expected pick-up date, I expected the truck and trailer that I rented to be there. Unfortunately, I was notified by U-Haul that although I had made a reservation at Tylertown and made a one hundred dollar deposit in order to ensure the reservation, the closest equipment that I needed was located sixty-five miles away in Picayune, Mississippi. When paying the one hundred dollar deposit on my reservation, I was under the impression that I was paying for tangible equipment at the location where I made the reservation, not sixty-five miles away in the opposite direction. I then expressed my dissatisfaction with a customer service representative, and instead of allaying my frustrations, she responded with the comment that "it's not a perfect world." I will never use U-Haul under any circumstance or suggest them to anyone inquiring about my experience. I felt like the company took advantage of the fact that I had driven five hundred miles to retrieve the belongings that needed to be packed, placing me at the mercy of U-Haul. Allowing me to make a reservation on equipment that did not exist is a concept that I am unable to grasp. I feel deceived and I will never recommend U-Haul to anyone that expects reasonable, reliable customer service.

Several lights were out and A/C never worked. I was told to call roadside to fix but I was on tight schedule! I asked for a discount instead and told no!! So I had to endure 85-90deg. In a hot truck for several hours. And no blankets were in truck.

The guy who handle things was completely inappropriate and a pervert. I also was trying to save money by bringing the truck back to the location however the stst showed we were to drop it off at a different location and he was just ready to get off work and did not want to change the information. His comments were completely unprofessional and I will never go back to the location to rent a uhaul or for any other reason

The location on 5070 hwy 98 W.Summit, Mr Bob was his name was rude, unprofessional, and a liar. He assured me that he would meet me at the same location Saturday morning@10:00 a.m. He never showed, then wouldn't answer his phone when I called. My truck was in the parking lot waiting for me to pick up. I had to drive all the way to Tylertown to pick up another truck. Time, energy and money wasted. He was the worse so call business man I have ever dealt with.
