the app was not working when i went to leave my car, and the personal didn't seem surprised by that at all. after trying to check out at 3AM because my original rental was late, I had to take an uber to go back the next morning to drop off the keys to avoid being charged.Jâ€™ni B.
Make sure both cashier's can do all the services people need. I had to wait for 1 particular person to get my storage unit. It took 20 mins which ate into my time with the movers. I had to pay for an additional hour.Ndidi N.

We returned truck just after closing, two days early. The instructions say return to the lot. The return lot was BLOCKED by a u-Haul van. Others, like us we're wondering what to do. The consensus was to use the alley by the office. Ridiculous and a huge time-waster.Thomas H.

The parking lot was full with a line of other uhauls that spilled into the street (and blocking a fire lane). I had to squeeze in and drive slightly on the curb to fit it in the lot. DC is a compact place but if there was a fire at the facility I'm not sure the fire dept would of been able to get where they needed to be. This is the sole reason for the low rating and the reason why I'd never use that facility if I were looking for storage in DC despite its proximity to me; it looks like a fire hazard.DREW EVAN M.
I will NEVER hire the labor through the Uhaul site again! ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! I hired helpers through the Uhaul website to load the truck in North Carolina and they never showed up and ghosted me when I tried to reach them, so I had to load the entire truck myself. I was on a strict time schedule, so I drove to DC the next morning to unload at a loading dock at a new apartment building and THE SAME THING HAPPENED AGAIN...THE MOVING HELP NEVER SHOWED UP! They kept saying they were on the way, but never showed. Then said they were there. Then said they would send another crew. Still no show. Then apologized and said they could send a team tomorrow! I waited 4 hours...THEN I HAD TO UNLOAD THE ENTIRE TRUCK MYSELF!!! Uhaul should be ashamed of themselves for allowing these derelict referral companies to represent them on their website. DO NOT TRUST THEM. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!Ronald S.

It was not a great experience. The website was down on the day I needed to move. The day I went to pick up the truck they told me my ID was expired and I could not drive. This is not true because the state of DC has a law that allows me to keep this ID until 60 days after the state of emergency ends. Problem after problem.
