I was given the keys by a man named Caleb who's name tag said owner and told the vehicle was out front and ready to go just bring it back with as much gas as I left with, upon returning I added more than a 1/4 tank to the truck to 1/2 full, i returned it to a rep named riley, who simply said to me if i wanted an email receipt i could just go...being that i was late to take my daughters to summer camp i agreed... And left, i later received and email receipt stating that i had put 188 moles on the truck and a 13 gallon fuel surcharge...I took the truck directly from the store up 1792 about 5 miles to my pickup destination less than a mile off of 1792 and headed directly to my home in sanford, upon googling the mileage it shows as a 17 mile trip... So roundtrip even with the stop for pickup there is no way I amassed 188 miles on the vehicle, nor should I have been charged a dime for fuel...I am very upset and am being told that i may have to wait 72 hours for a response...this is absolutely unacceptable!CURRAN H.

My original reservations was changed from one location to Winter Park. When i arrived there they didnt have the truck i reserved 4 months prior and told me i had to go to another location to get a smaller size truck and then come back to get a auto dolly. The truck was nasty. It had old food, empty bottles and dog hair. This was the worst i ever had to deal with when i move. Especially when i move from state to state.CONTINA H.
The people that work here are the least helpful. I've rented from here twice in the last 6 months. Both times I've had to go hunt down help to check me in. Also this past time they told me since I was returning it after hours all I had to do was drop the keys in the box and follow the link to check in the van. They missed the part where I had to take pictures of the inside and note the mileage, so I locked the van and dropped the keys before following the link and it was a huge pain I was charged extra for solely due to their negligence. The passenger side mirror fell off while i was driving. Truck really struggled to shift. Due to the long line, the 1 staff member told me to leave the keys and he would email a receipt. 3 days later i received it with 200 in extra chargesTHOMAS H.

Upon leaving, I was trying to return the keys and it said on the mobile site to look for an orange drop off box for the keys by the main enterprise of the building. I walked around for 30 mins looking for a box and It was in the building next to it with a green sign that was barely legible. I was annoyed because I just finished moving furniture. I got there before 5 and when I tried to open the doors, they were locked. And as I was checking the back of the truck, the employees BOTH walked passed me. It would have been easier if I could have returned the truck inside. Overall the most difficult experience I've ever encountered and I dont know about using uhaul againALENE F.
Overall experience was excellent. However the customer service experience was abysmal. Twice I attempted to telephone customer service to resolve questions about my rentals , particularly about the Moving help to load the moving van and both times I was on hold for 30 minutes at which time my call was dropped. I was never able to contact for help and subsequently loaded the large van by myself, No individual telephone contact numbers are provided on the Uhaul Moving help page of Uhaul's website. For this reason I downgraded the total experience to less than acceptable = Excellent equipment. locations. equipment; but poor communication and problem resolution.Richard G.

The manager and all staff are top notch here! Always very professional in every way! Have rented here at least 3 times and would drive out of my way to use this particular store & staff if need be.
