This was one of the worst experiences of my life. When I went to pick up my truck I kept getting notifications that there was no equipment issued to me. When I called customer service at U-Haul I had to wait on hold for 40 minutes. At that time someone finally showed up at my location. Eventually it did work out, but only because I waited around and I sat on hold. I will probably never use U-Haul again.

Equipment i reserved (packing supplies) was not there and i paid for it ? Never received refund.

I ordered furniture pads and there were none available because Uhaul didn't drop them off. My only options were to drive to a different Uhaul location (putting unnecessary miles on the vehicle for which I would have been charged) or doing without. Fortunately, none of my items were broken in transit, but Uhaul shouldn't provide trucks at this location if they are not also going to come through with the other packing items that people expect when they place the order online.

I set my pickup time for 1pm which was confirmed in my initial request. The day before my move my time was pushed back to 3:30. People who were supposed to help me dropped off and my parents were not able to travel to their home until later than expected.

My reservation included furniture pads and a furniture dolly. However, there were no pads and a (broken) utility hand truckThe mgr offered me nothing except to go to another uhaul center across town to get the needed items.

The customer service is great at the Allston location. They were kind, friendly & thourough with everything. This uhall location is convenient to get to and the vans are very clean. The prices for the uhall are deceiving. There is a lot of money added on that isn't on the website. The website quoted me one price when I reserved it online, but when everything was finished & turned in, the price was almost double because of extra taxes, service charges, etc. These things should be included on the website when the uhall is being reserved, and not at the time of pick up.

This was unfortunately quite a disappointing rental experience. I reserved my van five days in advance, and was unable to gain access to the vehicle through my phone at the start of my rental period. I spoke to customer service who was unable to help, and when the store finally opened I was delayed two more hours before my rental issue could be resolved (apparently there were issues with the online system). This delayed my moving day by a total of three hours. The van also had dirt and dust in the back cabin and had not been properly cleaned. I had asked for a discounted rental rate due to this experience and was told that was not possible. I believe I’ll be trying out competitors’ services for my next move.

The truck was not in a good condition for the ride that was rented (Boston / Miami) We contacted the office 3 times to complain about during the trip (car turned off and did not reach more than 60 miles) and employe was not helpful at all. It took much more time to get to our destination as truck was not well maintained. I will not recommend this company and I will not use it again.

I reserved a vehicle online. The location was suppose to set up a 24 hour pick up after they were closed. They then called to make sure we were coming to pick up the vehicle while we were in our way. A uhaul tepresentive then decided to move the pick up location to the nearest location, a mile away which we had no way to get to except walk. I called and they switched the reservation back to the original location, thankfully. I don't know why we were called approximately 30 mins before we were scheduled to pick up the vehicle. Thankfully it worked out, but I was confused over the confusion the agent had last mi its with our reservation. Then I was suppose to check into my account and confirm when the vehicle was dropped off. I was unable to do that at through my account. Should have been easier like the emails assures me it would be. Overall satisfied, but the confusion was extremely frustrating.

The man working the front desk worked very hard to fix what seemed to be an issue through UHaul. I booked my van for 2:30 but my reservation time was changed to 4:30 without my consent. He was able to get me a van at 3 and was very apologetic. I do think, however, it might have helped the location to have extra staff on the busy moving days because people were waiting in line for awhile.

Once I got the van everything was great, however I originally booked at a time when the office location was closed, and was told online that I could do autopickup. However apparently this is incorrect and auto pickup is not available, so I had al my stuff packed ready to go and no truck and had to move rental to next day. Please update your site so it does not allow
