The clerk couldn't find my reservation and had no idea what to do about it. I called UHaul and they called the location. I could hear the phone ringing, but the clerk said she couldn't answer the phone. She finally found my reservation. The truck was parked in a way that made it very difficult to exit the lot safely.

Comment U-Haul Fonctionnement des avisThe rental staff was stretched too thin, one person was attempting to operate the entirety of the gas station and process our rental leading to significant delays. The rental staff did not seem to know how to do their job, I had to come around behind the counter and operate the computer myself. The truck initially appeared to be clean but on further inspection the cupholders and dashboard were grimy and required a thorough wipe down and a sweep of the floor. This was a significant departure from the quality and renter experience I had come to expect from U-Haul at their Marcella street location in Kimberly.
FRIEDRICH MThe truck wasn't totally clean in comparison to what they expected at the end. The headlights were very unsafe, you could barely see 30 feet in front of you. It was a scary ride at night from Wisconsin to Texas. Also I was quoted one price and charged over $400 more, but had no choice. The people at the pick up location were very nice, but the man I had to deal with on the phone from corporate was rude, unprofessional and didn't care that he was over charging per the original quote. The man, Mr. Sargent was a jerk.
