Hello, I spoke to Krys earlier from the regional office for U-Haul Company of Southern Mass and Cape Cod and was informed that I would be given extra miles because my original reservation did not have the truck I reserved. My original pickup location was Weymouth and I was told last minute that I needed to go to Cohasset which is further away. I still have not been credited the amount of 1.23 which was charged to me for mileage overage back to my credit card on file.

The service was good, the equipment was good. My suggestion would be to improve the check in process. You complete almost all the information online. When you get to the location it should just be one ID verification to get the keys. That would speed things up.

The store manager on duty was excellent. Very efficient and moved everyone in and out quickly. The vehicle was brand new and spotless.

I reserved a 26’ truck, rental period 6/29-6/30. I received a call 6/28, stating my truck was no longer available. There were no large trucks available for my timeframe. Likely due to the fact most people move the end of the month. The only option I had was a 10’ truck. I expressed my concern because my new home is 35 miles from this location and I’d now have to take multiple trips instead of just one. I took the truck because I didn’t have any other options, I had to leave my apartment 6/30, the new tenant was moving in 7/1. I called around to other locations and no one had trucks available. They gave me a $50 credit. When my husband and I picked up the tiny truck that Friday, we noticed the 26’ truck keys were hanging. We asked and they said it was already rented. Why they didn’t call me back to tell me the one I initially reserved was available was beyond me. So, we left at 7 pm and began the moving process. We had to take multiple trips, and because the truck was so god damn small, we wound up having to continue to make trips in our cars after we returned the truck 6/30 at 7pm. We also had to return it BACK to the location we rented from, which added on another 35 miles. My original agreement was for a one way rental. We were told the total due, and i was floored. $313!! With the 26’ I was looking at a max of $100. Quite a large difference. They called me 7/1, and asked where the truck was. We dropped it off on time the night before!!! I asked to speak with a manager because I was upset about the total and my overall experience. She gave me his cell number. The guy was rude, and told me I was lucky I got a truck at all. Said he’d try to get me another $50 refund but that’s all he could do because I agreed to the rental. Not like I had a choice, given that I had to be out of my apartment 6/30. He said he’d call me back next day, he didn’t. I got an email on the 5th saying a credit was going to be released to me (this is AFTER I submitted a complaint online). The email said it takes 3-5 business days to clear. Never received the refund. I called on Monday July 16, and they never released the refund to me! They said they were releasing it that day. My bank is pretty quick with this transaction type and I still have yet to receive the refund. Overall, horrendous experience. I have to move again at the end of the month and I will not be using this company.

Very convenient location for me since I live down the street. The gentleman that helped me was quick and easy to deal with. Only gripe is that your prices are pretty expensive. Unfortunately I had no choice but to rent a truck with the ramp since I was moving a piano. It is what it is I guess.

The truck was horrendously dirty outside. The truck was not in the row I was told it was in, so I started a guessing game of which truck started with the key I got. I got a truck started but it seemed small. I asked for help and the man was quite rude asking how I got the truck on because it was the wrong one. Well I put the key in and turned it! Then the correct truck was behind others, instead of up front where I could just pull out so I had to back up around a maze. I also reserved this to be picked up in Foxboro but had to drive an extra 20 minutes each way to pick up from this location instead and was not compensated for the inconvenience at all. I had to make the employee give me at least the extra miles it would take. Ridiculous.

over charged us ---- b4 we even finished contract!!!! showed up on bank statement charged us 12.41 b4 charging our rental..... been on hold for 30 mins!!!!!!! going to media now!!! 3rd call today!!! no one answering!!!

Rules/ charges beyond the $19.95 p/u charge ( ie protection coverage/ if return unclean extra charge (we always return clean anyway) , etc., were not explained clearly. General manager seemed annoyed with us asking questions . It was, afterall, our first time renting from this uhaul. It was an average experience, but will go back.

My reservation was for north Attleboro. An hour before pick up I was told my truck was actually not available at that location even though the reservation was made weeks in advance. Of courss, I did not check my email and arrived at the reserved location. It took me 1.5 hours just to get my rental because of this change in location and lack of a timely notification which caused a major delay in my move. Had U-Haul called me, it would have saved me time.
