I had a reservation for a 6x12 Trailer at 134 Davis Rd. and when I went to pickup I was told they did not have that equipment there and was sent to 4 DIFFERENT U-HAUL locations since my reservation was NOT honored and had to find a 15' truck whereever it was available. When we found one at 3755 Wheeler rd the attendant was alone attending the U haul reservations and gas station sales at the same time. It took 45min to get my truck and be able to leave. A 9am reservation I had for a trailer ended being a 10:45am last minute truck haul. Horrible experience and would not recommend anyone to go with a Uhaul. Alsoo paid a lot more than I wanted to and has to pay by the miles I drove which would not have happened with the trailer.

I need someone from customer service to call me ASAP
James WThe truck seemed to be sluggish and would not pick up speed. I called to inform and was told to make sure the parking brake was not on and to be told the truck was fine. The private rental agent was impersonal and didn’t ask if I wanted to pay with cash he automatically charged my card and told me “You can go , you will get an email. I had no idea what my total bill amount was and he said it’s in the email. This explains why he was the only U-Haul with available trucks on a Friday evening.

Michael KI am disappointed with the overall experience. I had reserved a 20' truck in Statesboro, GA. My intent was to drive down with my daughter in her car, stay overnight and pick the truck up in Statesboro Saturday morning so I could rent the truck only one way and return it the same day. I was supposed to already be in Statesboro that evening when I received the call from UHaul traffic division telling my one-way rental from Statesboro was not available in any location. I had to pick up a truck in Augusta, GA and drive it to Statesboro, GA empty, then drive it back once we filled it and return it Saturday evening. I downgraded from a 20 ft truck to a 15 ft truck because no concessions were made for my inconvenience and the 20' truck was too expensive. The traffic person did add some mileage to the rental, but not enough to cover the return mileage. I ended up paying over $100 more than I had budgeted. The place I returned the truck to was a gas station and the attendant did not thing to help me unload the equipment which was loaded for me at pickup. I also returned the truck with more gas than I left with and no concession or refund was made for that.
