I was not quoted the correct price to keep my truck for an extra day, and i dont know if uhaul made the mistake or taneytown but i should have been allowed the truck until almost 5 , 454 i think is when i rented it but was emailed the truck had to be back by 4. At 4 we were unloading our last load and tired. For 1995 i would just pay another day but when to return it still within one day milage but charged 40.00 and after the fact was told it was due to a one way rental. Well thats what i should have been quoted when i called in. But had my return said 5 pm we could have probably avoided it all and had it back the same day. One hour makes a big difference when your only 2 miles from a location. I would like the 40 removed or adjusted sonce so many issee occured via uhaul. But dont be mistaken the men at this locationnwere very kind and professional. I would recommend using them, as long as they know one way versus two way recall.

Online/800# needs to coordinate with what is in stock at the location. The first truck number given online was not available, the second truck number provided was already on hold for another customer. This created some inconvenience and confusion at pickup time.

Tow dolly is a little bit high. When I drive my car up from bumper rubbers the rail .I can not drive up to put front tires in place. End up with towing a empty dolly to my destination. Next day have to go back and drove my car back .

The check-out process was flawless once I proceeded to use the agent at the counter inside of the location. The online process to retrieve my vehicle was horrible and the information kept changing as I began to proceed with the app based program. The app agent that began to assist me mentioned that she couldn't get some information to show up and then it indicated that the entire reservations had been discontinued. What was supposed to be a quick, seamless process utilizing the app instead of an agent turned out to be a waste of time. This is not the first time that I've had issues with this app and checking out a vehicle. With the location itself, as previously mentioned, checking out was awesome! The gentlemen were able to reconfigure my reservation utilizing my corporate account and get me off in less than 10 mins. As for the check-in, the location had an desk agent (a lady- african american) who was extremely rude. In addition, there seemed to be some disconnect with the communication as she mentions for me to leave keys in the vehicle so it can be checked and the gentleman checking them comes in and asks me where the keys were. Typically, I would not have left the keys in the vehicle as someone could have easily stolen the vehicle as I'm awaiting check-in and that would be at my expense to cover the stolen vehicle because the location had not taken possession yet. The lady then asked me to wait again off to the side. At this point, the gentleman who actually was checking the vehicle in was able to call me out, confirm mileage and gas and e-mail my receipt. He was quick and awesome, so what started off as a bad check-in ended as a good one.

Didn't like the pricing of the mileage. Was asked how many miles I thought I would need...was not given a set price as to mileage. Seems like no matter what number I said, if I went over my estimate, I would be charged. However, both customer reps I dealt with were very attentive, pleasant and professional.

There was only 1 person working on a Saturday morning. We waited about an hour to get the truck even though we had checked in online ahead of time. They also tried to tell us they didn't have any 1-way dollies for rent even though we had reserved one ahead of time.

There was only 1 person helping customers pick up their vehicles The wait was approximately 20 minutes even though I had already checked in earlier. More customer service reps need to be on hand at the beginning of the month. Ernest was very pleasant and efficient.

First of all I requested a rental dolly when I made my reservation and one wasnt provided when I picked up the truck. Then when I recieved my reciept via email it showed I was being charged for the dolly I didnt get. Also the engine light was on when I picked up the truck and stayed on the entire time I had it.

online said there was a van. there was no van. used a 10' truck - no instruction manuals, no glove compartment. if i had known i had to get this type of vehicle i would have gone to a closer u-haul and saved $$ on milage.

the gentleman who started my reservation had a lot of problems with the computer but was very friendly. The guy who helped check my rental out outside was smoking had his car parked in the van lanes blocking them and then got into my rental with the cigarette to check the gas now the woman who completed my reservation when I returned was very unprofessional. She was on the phone on speaker. loud and she would barely open her mouth to communicate and when she did it was sounds and not words. She had an attitude because I was paying in cash gave me the wrong change and couldn't print my reciept

The employee checking us in was not pleasant. Didn't smile and didn't seem knowledgeable. Check in took 20 minutes even though I had already checked in online. When i wanted to add a driver, the employee had such a sour attitude.
