Comment U-Haul Fonctionnement des avisI would say something like, "Please return the lock before BEGINNING your rental." I assume seeing the multiple signs, it has been a pain point for you. From the outside looking in, it seems slightly ambiguous because everyone knows rental cars, rental trucks, rental stuff return the keys at the end. They think that's what the sign is talking about, but I think you're referring to returning the lock prior to beginning the rental period. Even if you say "before you leave," that could still be thought of as "before you leave at the end of your rental when you drop off the truck." I don't know, just thought I would send my two cents. I had a wonderful experience. You guys are great. It was great meeting you, Sterling. Thanks again!

Lisa HMy original rental agreement was with South Bay auto Plex in Prairieville Louisiana. I had reserved a 26 foot U-Haul. When I arrived, the owner was in the midst of renting it to another couple who drove off with the only 26 foot U-Haul on site. I explained to him I had a reservation, but he kept telling me to hold on and helped other customers. It was probably 30 minutes before he gave me his attention and said it was U-Haul’s fault because they double booked. It was impossible to stay in the store because there was a dog in the store and the store smelled like dog feces and urine. All the customers had to go outside just to take a breath. The man could not type, could not speak, smelled bad and seemed very confused. Uhaul should not have him representing your company. I had to switch my reservation and find a different truck at superior Drive in Baton Rouge and the service there was excellent.
