Returning the van was a pain. The website did not function well and I had to call in. The rep helped me and made things easier, but at that point I had already wasted a lot of time.Joshua R.
Remember to put the extra utilities that are purchased, in the truck prior to the renter driving seat. And I think your customer service and the actual store locations need better communication between each other. I had a vip coupon and the csr said to just note everything in the check out to get the coupon, so I did, yet I still didn't get that discount. I believe if there was better communication between your customer service and your store locations, nobody would have to be troubled with circumstances that I had to deal with.JOLEEN C.
Just as a heads up, the auto shut off when filling up with gas seems to be malfunctioning. It will act like the tank is full and shut the gas off, but still needs a few gallons before it's actually full.ERIK S.

Check Out and Check In was really efficient. I used the Tools on the website to book the Cargo Van. The people at the Uhaul operation processed the paperwork and I was on my way. Checking back in was a breeze - took less than 5 minutes ! Whole experience was very positive and stress free..Mark D.
Came in to rent a 9 foot van today. The lady at the counter was rude to us and made us feel like we were not valued customers. I will be taking my U Haul business elsewhere next time. Reason why we rented from you and not previous UHaul near Main Street in Bellevue was proximity to items that needed to be moved. The lady at the front desk wearing the snowman mask with wings on it when we entered and I said we were there to rent a van which I had a reservation for, after giving my name, told us that her 1st job was Storage Rentals and she was busy. It seemed to us that UHaul and customers are not a priority. I gave her my ID and explained my drivers license is a temporary one (from BC Canada) and all the information is in the upper left corner and that someone else would be driving. I also said I was interested in upgrading to a larger cube truck. She told us to sit down and wait. Then she started addressing us - not by name but just by randomly talking and then rude statements like Seth who was going to drive the van thought she was talking to him so he got up and then she said "not you - you are not even looking at me" all the while I WAS looking at her and it was my information that she needed to clarify. It took forever for her to rent the van to us. I have not experienced this kind of slow service at UHaul previously. It was now 11:26am and she told us to have the rental back by 3pm. I told her it is 4 hours so 3:30pm it would be. Then she was done and we had not even talked about the larger truck! I was not at this point going to upgrade. So we left. We ended up needing the larger truck after all so the van was returned at 2:30pm and while I am paying people to move, 4 people had to wait the HOUR it took for the cube van to be rented which should have happened if the receptionist had payed attention when we first asked about upgrading in the morning. I suggest for people not to have similar experiences that we had that your receptionist be trained on customer service and how to address people politely, listening skills, and that all customers are valuable not just Storage Locker customers...Lynda Marie N.

The U Haul staff was an hour and a half late for my reservation. I reserved at 8:00 am and was to do the self pick up. They didn't have the key available and I didn't get the truck until 9:30. The truck was dirty inside, but I got the move done.Asa I.
I got an email from the Field Manager telling me that the UHaul office wouldn't open until 9:30. Luckily (for me) he was wrong. They were open at 9:00 and when I arrived at 9:15, I was able to get the truck with no problem! My perception is that the email was unnecessary and I'm glad I went ahead with my plans to arrive before 9:30.Deborah B.
The pick up and drop off themselves went pretty smoothly. The staff were nice and courteous and I was particularly happy cause I just had a budget truck pick up go wrong(owner did not have reservation equipment on site) The problem though arose after drop off and when I was charged. Was charged for gas to fill up the tank even though I returned equipment with more gas than I left with. The tank was not full when I picked up and I took a picture to document it. I didn't go back in though to report the status as I assumed instruction was return to where you found the gas gauge. I called back and was refunded some but not the whole sum as the attendant realized I couldn't possibly have used the claimed amount on the receipt with the length of my move. Attendant mentioned my picture of the gauge before does not matter now and I should have gone in before driving the truck off the lot. So partly my fault for being too trusting I guess. Anyway moral of the story is to make sure you confirm with attendants any discrepancies you find with things like gas gauge before driving off. You'll end up paying for it later otherwiseAnjola O.
