I rented a car dolly and a truck to move across the country from Texas to Iowa. No one inspected this equipment before renting it out. The car dolly had a flat tire. The ratchet straps on the car dolly were rusted and would not ratchet. Once I found a way to tighten them down with the fault equipment they stayed tight for a few hours. But not like they should have. I had to pull over at least 8 times during my trip to re tighten them to ensure my car would stay it for my 14 hour drive. I am so angry at them renting faulty equipment and causing so much undue stress during my move. To pay that kind of money and receive equipment that was not safe is unbelievable.
