We decided not to use the trailer and dropped it off two days earlier than expected at the pickup location. We were charged $45 more, 50% more than the original cost, for driving less miles for a shorter period of time. We will look for a competitor with better policies in the future.

I made my reservation over the phone and wasasked how long I would need the truck. I said I wasn't sure when asked if 4 hours would work. Then I asked for price differences for different time allotments. I was told 8 hours was the same as 4. I took an 8 hour local reservation. I had a truck reserved to pick up at 9:00 am when the store opened. At 8:59 a guy was opening the doors and was not friendly almost grumpy and told me not yet as I attempted to walk in the opened doors. While I was checking in I asked what I would be charged if I didn't make it back by closing at 5 pm. He said you can have it 24 hours we just like to know when we might be able to rent the truck out again. This would have been nicer to know when I was making the reservation instead of being tested for how long I needed the truck. I assumed 24 hours because I have used uhaul before, but this was my first local move. I felt like I had to ask or dig for information instead of being presented with information and options. When returning my truck the sign said wait in your vehicle so I did and after 5 minutes I entered the store at 3:30. I could see employees and they could see me outside to inside. They seemed to be more focused on reserving a truck for a fellow employee because both people were behind the counter and talking as if they were familiar with each other. After another 5 minutes I was addressed. Everything went very smooth for checkout, however I requested an email receipt which I have still not received almost 8 hours after checkout. I received this survey email about 5 hours after my checkout.

If possible provide Affordable helpers to assist in moving. 300+ dollars for 6 hours help is a lot considering the expensive of an 1875 move over several days.

Make sure the employees know how to guide someone backing up to your trailers. Also, that they know how to make sure the adaptors are plugged all the way in, and that they know all the terms of bringing a trailer back, and that they are courteous.

The staff took 45 minutes to check in my return and double charged me. The staff here did not know how to work their system and complained about everything the entire time .

I will never rent from uhaul ever again I could have bought a ttrauler for what they charged me in the first one then when I took it in they gave me a hard time about it on the second trailer returned clean they refused to give me my deposit back said there a dealer not uhaul center and only a uhaul center can refund my deposit

The customer service blows. They pay way more attention to each other than the customer. They act like they have all day and don't make you feel like you are important to their business. They don't care about the customer. They need some real hands on training on how you are supposed to treat the public. I won't be back. I run my own successful business and I know the importance of good customer service!

I have rented this unit for 2 months. Arrived at the location in the Heights and notice that all my stuff was wet went to the office and they told me since I didn't purchase insurance that it would not be covered. Noticed in the unit on the ceiling that there was previous water damage and duct tape was used to try to fix it well seeing how the issue was not fixed the roof leaked again obviously now I have four suits that are damaged 27 dress shirts that are ruined and about 12 neck ties That are useless now. The way that I see this issue is that it was never taken care of in the first place now my stuff is ruined because of this. The day that I rented this I rented a U-Haul Van and purchased insurance on it not really sure why the insurance was not put on my unit because I was sure that I had purchased it. Uhaul is saying that they're not going to fix this issue or replace my damaged goods so I will be taking my business and my employees business elsewhere. In my eyes a company should take care of their customers but that seems not the case here.

It was not explained that my deposit would not be refunded to me, I was not instructed on how to use equipment, I had to drive an hour away to pick up my Uhaul that I had reserved weeks in advance, and come to find out my size truck was in fact available at Billings location.

When I called the morning after drop off to tell them about the bad headlights I was told it was not their problem. Also when I told them about not being told about the extra charge for mileage the guys said again not my problem what the other stores do. Very rude.
