the interior of the truck was a bit dirty and had some pieces of trim missing. Otherwise the truck worked great for the purpose it was intended for.
I asked at what time do I have to return the truck, and the guy helping me told me if I do it before 8:00 am I won't be charged extra. I return the truck just after 7:00 am and I got charged an extra day of rental and another day of insurance as well. I end up paying twice than I was supposed to do it. I tried to call to get my money back but nobody answered the phone.
Better direction on where to park the truck on return. The parking assigned is clearly designated for Uhaul.
First of all the owner is VERY RUDE!!! He called my phone on his personal number lastnight at 10:30. Then got upset when I called him back this morning thinking it was a number I could call to find out about some stuff that was left in the truck. His response was VERY RUDE and he spoke to me as if I found his number somewhere and messaged him out the blues when he was the one that called me after hours on his PERSONAL number.
I booked a one way vehicle at one location. That location was changed last minute. I booked to travel to London from Burlington and Uhaul was aware. Yet I got a vehicle with only 3/8 of a tank of gas which meant I had to get gas prior to going to the condo and I had moving people waiting which meant I was late. As well I got a text about hauling a trailer behind but that trailer was not at the location to do so. So I missed the opportunity for the $50 credit.
The worst experience ever!!! There was no technical support for the online smartphone app, I spent and hour and a half sitting beside the truck, after my reservation was cancelled, and tried to get another one, The gas charge was 40$ which was NOT in the contract, I contested the bill, and there was someone who would call me within 48 hours...3 days later no call!!! NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN WILL I RENT FROM SUCH A TERRIBLY ORGANIZED, AND CORRUPT COMPANY, YOU JUST DON'T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT PEOPLE, ONLY THE MONEY!!!!!!! A FAILURE, NOT TO MENTION THE TERRIBLE DANGER OF VIBRATION WHEN DRIVING AT 55 TO 60 MPH, TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE, DISHONEST!!!
Vehicle was caked in ice. Vehicle was parked across from business where I got the key so they knew it was encased in ice and then covered with snow. No ice scraper was available and even at 5'7â€ I could not clear windshield of snow Tho make this booking I have had to speak to customer service twice and both times the representatives were not friendly, abrupt and reflected poorly on the company. I spent over a half hour using the automated check in which included an eternal wait for customer service to answer. If that wasn't bad enough then my rental time slot included the time I spent sitting in the parking lot waiting for the automated check in. How is that fair? Next time I will rent from Home Depot. No one with half a brain would put up with this poor service again. I-Haul was never like this before.
It was good to have the neighbourhood location, but very hard to find.
Pictures of the van weren't real, van had damage to the roof. Van had dirt and dents inside.

The truck was poorly maintained. It was leaking gas from somewhere. I have used U-haul trucks several times over the last year. This trip required twice the amount of gas. The staff at this site misled me by telling me I could return the truck wherever I wished. This was false and ended up costing me more. Very dissatisfied.
The individual that ran this location was ignorant and 2 hours late arriving to open so I could pick up the truck. They were unapologetic and acted as though I had inconvenienced him. The wipers did not work on the truck depending on the key you used which we figured out several hours later. The cardboard sign was still in the window when we picked up the truck. It took at least half an hour to actually get the keys for the truck once he arrived. I am so disappointed with the service in general. An already stressful day was made even worse by delaying pick up by 2 hours. I had people waiting and we ended up moving in the rain because we had been delayed in the morning. The customer service agent I spoke with was not very sympathetic. I will never rent a truck from Uhaul again. I had reserved a truck weeks in advance to ensure the day would go smoothly. It might not be all uhaul locations but this rental agent is an absolute embarrassment to your business. There was another person waiting for a 29' truck and they were equally upset.

Nothing over all we had a good experience
The pick up took to long. Unable to receive the code to access the key for the truck. I had to call customer service for assistance and that took over half an hour to reach. Many attempts then finely we got the box open.
On return of the key, the store was closed so it was an easy key drop off.
Ensure that trucks are ready to be used. The battery in the truck was dead . A service technician did resolve the issue in just over an hour. The Uhaul operator was very professional and did his best to prevent any further delays.
The after hours pickup was okay, except if I hand't checked in the morning before I left I would have arrived at the site with no access to the truck. The guy that came did a good job, but if the truck was returned incorrectly you should have been able to let me know and deal with the issue without me having to call you.
The location and the overall service was great but the only problem was that the app was not working properly
What a fucking joke. I will never use uhaul again. Ever. Customer service takes forever and is useless, overcharges are insane, drop off and pickup we're a nightmare.
Make sure you're not overcharged as my invoice added a $16.95 km charge when my rate included 150 kms and I only drove 149 km. I pointed this out to the owner and he adjusted the final amount that was to appear on my credit card.
We dropped off after hours, so cannot comment on the location itself.
Excellent customer service at pickup and at return. On-site parking convenient and readily available. Location was within 2 mi. of my residence. An on-line explanation of procedures for returning a vehicle after the U-Haul outlet's business hours needs to be added (or improved) in the Q&A section. You should also clearly explain that returning the vehicle to a different local outlet changes the contract terms from 4-hr @ $19.95 to a higher rate. This may be obvious if the other location is in a different city, but not so obvious when there are 4 or 5 local outlets to choose from -- some open, some not -- on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon.
