When a truck is reserved for a customer, that truck should be available. Not canceled two days before pick up. Very disappointed. The person at the location helped me with a different pick up time than first set up. The person who called and canceled my truck, only suggested to go 30 kilometres to Windsor and pick up a truck much larger than I reserved. He did offer a reduction in the travel cost. The whole was very disappointing especially when I had people at a set time to help with my move.

Comment U-Haul Fonctionnement des avisI didn’t know that the one way drop off had conditions and was in panic mode when I was called the day before the truck was reserved to go to HRM to a storage facility. Luckily, I could still reserve the truck both ways and we off loaded what we needed. The truck ride was rough like the suspension was too weak for the size of the truck. Gas mileage and motor were excellent.
Danny GFalse advertising. $19.95 a day turned into $465 . I returned it 3 hours late and was charged an extra day so it could sit on the lot.

Cheryl SMy issue was with the actual haul call center after renting the 26 foot truck at the location with the very nice staff, the call center called a hour later I could barely understand her and she down graded my truck to a 20 foot after telling her I could not down size. So I went in Friday morning with the disappointment of a 20 foot the lady in the shop said no you can definitely have the 26 foot like you requested and booked. U haul really needs to re look at there Canadian booking system. If a person is able to book a truck for the day and time slot there should be NO back tracking on uhauls end. Like I said the staff at gloosecal service center went above and beyond for me even after the main call center dropped the ball
