Comment U-Haul Fonctionnement des avisLocation overcharged me on the miles driven. I received the email to record odometer and other things too late into the trip. So didn't upload anything but still took pictures in my phone. Later realised the location has the miles set 10 miles less than what was on the vehicle. Brought this to the attention of the person working at the end of the trip by showing the picture of the odometer at the beginning of the trip (with time stamps. ). He said he can't do anything. Unsure if this was a genuine mistake or a money grab.
SREERAJ KFix your trucks. The customer service guy was great. But the truck was not. First thing was a light came on saying the front right tire needed air. I told him, he kicked the tire and said its ok, that the sensor was not working right. Then when I went to start it, it made a loud clicking sound a couple of time before it started. One it was loaded, it did that same clicking sound for about 4 seconds. THen started. I got to where i had to drop off my stuff and when I went to start it. First effort it clicked LOUDLY for the whole time I had the key turned. Then on the second try there was absolutely nothing. No sound, nothing. So I called the guy that rented it to me. he gave me a number to call for help. I was upset, so tried the truck once more and it started after some weird noises. So we went back to drop it off. The other thing it seemed to do is rev high before it would change gears while driving. The transmission didn't sound so great at times. So not terribly happy with the vehicle itself. I'm a female and don't know alot about trucks. But enough to know it 's in serious need of maintenance.
Jacqueline gI was really disappointed with the U-Haul service this time, the location I had chosen was in walking distance from my apartment and was changed at the last minute, which meant I had to walk back home, get a second driver and drive to the new location, this was very frustrating for me, and caused delays and a cost with me getting to my new address and moving in. I was sent a message about reimbursement, which I haven't received. I also didn't get a call the day before from an agent to go over the details of the pickup.
George APricing was not clear and I ended up paying $179 for 8 hours and 66km driven. Gas was full upon return. When I questioned the price, he was rude she said « you drove 66 km and it’s already charged to your card. «
