The specific truck i rented needs the ac looked at needs to be charged. Also at stop lights and parked it idles rough. Other than those two maintenance issues it ran well and was a good solution. I didn't need the air yesterday but someone in the future will.

The UHAUL was in need of a cleaning. Wish the Pakmail place would take a look between rentals. There was sand on the floor and the driver visor where it clips in was broken so you couldn't keep the visor up. When you would brake just before the truck would come to a full stop the anti-lock brakes would come on pulling one of the wheels. If you were not holding the wheel it would steer to one side just before stopping. The place where it was parked you had to move it out of that location to finish taking the pictures and take the pictures before putting it back in that spot.
David WThe unexpected change of pick-up location was not expected, and the lady giving instructions was very rude and condescending. It was so bad that I wanted to spit some Beech-Nut in her eye. She horrible! On the day of pick-up, I was told that I had changed the date and if I wanted the truck, I would have to travel 2 hours North to pick it up. Overall, it was not a good start and there wasn't enough medication to calm me down. After a few "personally selected words" I hung up and waited for the store to open. However, the staff at the Cedar Rapids location were friendly and helpful. Was helped identifying damaged areas on truck prior to departure. Very helpful in providing instructions should something happen along the way.
CARLOS VThe greeter (woman) was rude and rolled her eyes at us. The location was as a strip mall and we saw the trucks but didn’t know which shop was renting u-haul as there was no signage on windows or door. When we mentioned this, she said there were signs all over. We asked her to show us, thinking we must have missed them. No. There was one sign that was not clearly visible from the road and had a lockbox over the sign. The man who set us up was friendly and helpful. The site was clean. Only reason I rated this as average.
DEANNA SOnly complaint was that I was not aware that the 10 Ft trucks do not have a loading ramp
