Vehicle was very dirty! And on the returned day, rain was a major factor for the late return but charged me a late free anyway!!!

Comment U-Haul Fonctionnement des avisWas very disappointed to have my reservation changed to this location at the last minute, with no ability to appeal the change. It is a very small gas station in an unfamiliar neighborhood, not someplace I would normally go as a woman alone. The gas station attendant was perfectly friendly but he was NOT a U-Haul agent and directed me to check in over the phone. It did not feel safe taking pictures of my drivers license or reading payment details out loud while squeezed into the snack corner. Chicago has lots of areas that are not appropriate for out-of-towners, which is why I chose a specific location in my reservation. Additionally, I was unprepared to travel so much further from my accommodation. TLDR: Advance reservations should be honored, even if a vehicle has to be moved in order to do so.
Gretchen AMy husband and myself came in this morning, Sunday, to the park forest location. Britney was extremely polite and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain procedures and rates with us as we didn’t understand some things and she answered all of our questions with grace and respect! We would most certainly return to this location. The other workers there were polite and kind as well
Angela PDrop off manager was terrific. Confirmed receipt of my truck over the phone. Took in my info. He does need to train his attendant on what to do when someone returns equipment for UHaul.
JUAN BIt was easy to find and convenient for returning the truck.
