The woman that waited on me at the front desk was outstanding! Professional, kind and efficient.
I was charged $90 for what should have been $30. The gas was on a quarter tank when I reserved it, they claimed it was more. I provided photos of the tank from before I drove off and even after I put the gas back in it to be returned. I actually put more gas in it than. I need someone to give me a credit and remove the extra unnecessary charge.

Customer service was not good. All three store employees were unprofessional and extremely laid back. When I walked in, neither of them greeted me. One was eating at the desk/cashier area. Another helped me but wasn't thorough. In the middle of helping me she went to help another employee which I can understand but didn't communicate that which was rude. Another employee stepped in and communication again was an issue. She began asking a series of questions to create a customer profile/account and didn't tell me nor did she understand my confusion as to why I needed to ask her questions to understand why I needed to provide the information. Once I received the truck keys, nothing was said. Not a thank you, do you have questions, the truck is this way, NOTHING! Again, it wasn't until I asked questions such as where is the truck?! Then she didn't explain how to close the truck door or tell me it was open. So I was driving on the expressway which an open door. When I called the store back, and again asking questions to clarify I was told the assumption was everybody knows how to close the door and since it was nothing in the truck it didn't matter if the door was open! Ridiculous!! Upon my arrival to return the truck, i was again ignored as I entered the store. Not one employee greeted me. One did stare at me while I was â€œhelpedâ€. I was told I could get a printed or emailed receipt. I said I would wait until the truck was checked before I left the premises. As one employee quietly checked the truck without making any conversation, she then abruptly said you should have gotten the email. Just rude and impersonal. Thankfully I waited but said email was never received. It never dawned on her to proceed with a paper copy. She instead attempted to use her phone to â€œsendâ€ the receipt. Yet again I had to ask the questions, can you give me a printed receipt NOW! Without saying a word the employee walks in the store and prints the receipt. Then she tells me the total which should have been told to me before even attempting to â€œemailâ€ it to me. This was so unprofessional and uncourteous. Will not return to this location.
I had a terrible experience with Uhaul. I was denied a rental because of someone else's action that has nothing to do with me. Because I went to a location to rent Uhaul with someone who was helping me move and I wanted him to help me do the rental as well. I didn't know this person own Uhaul money for past rental services. They refused to rent to him which was understandable. I ended up renting in my own name and all service charges was fully paid for and the truck returned in good condition. Unfortunately, I was going to rent a truck from Uhaul yesterday i was refused service because they thought i prevented the guy who went with me to the location from paying them what he owns by renting the truck in my own name. I have was on the phone for more than 40 minutes with Uhaul customer service begging for me to be offered service in the process transferring me between one manager to another manager before the finally unlinked me from that dude account. That was a terrible experience for me and would make a comic video about it.
Needs a new Manager. The current manager - Cynthia Zamora is very reactive, petty, rude, & ignorant. She calked the police on me & had me forcibly removed from the property because I had my vehicle parked in the designated parking area. She is ona power trip & is unfit to manage this property responsibly.
Wind visor was broken and obstructed my view as I was driving. The wind visor kept falling down and I was on the expressway. I'm extremely disappointed that Uhaul rented this defective truck that could have potentially caused a dangerous accident.
The General Manager was perfect and made this transaction very easy and smooth. No complaints!
Re: Contract 25487815 & 385566462 At the last minute U-Haul changed my reservation from one location to another, resulting in me having to travel 16 additional miles to pick up and drop off the rental; thus adding to the cost of the truck. This was a burdensome last minuate change that is unappreciated, and I would like a refund for the additional milage. Additionally, the outgoing milage on the contract was different by 1 mile than on the dashboard. I have pictures of the outgoing and return milage and fuel levels if you would like verification. It seems inaccurate milage is a pattern with U-Haul, this is the 3rd time I've noticed this and different locations. Thank you.
It was 90 degrees yesterday and the A/C unit in the truck was not working.
I originally reserved the vehicle for a 2:00p pick up because I had a 3:00-6:00 move out reservation for the elevators in my building. On the day of my reservation it was changed to 3:00p p/u by UHaul at 11:30a the morning of the reservation. They left a message to say that the truck I reserved would not be returned until after 3:00. I called to let them know that it would screw up my move out and give me less than 2:30 hrs to move out. Ended up I wasn't able to pick it up til almost 4:00. Which really screwed me. Luckily my building was understanding and gave me some extra time to get out. It added a lot of undue stress to the already stressful move. Don't believe the $50 reservation guarantee. Fine print says â€œdue to a fault of UHaulâ€. They said a customer turning a vehicle in late is not their fault. Then why would you let me reserve one for 2:00p that I needed for a 3:00p move out if you didn't have one available?
Please notify customer if the pick up equipment location gets changed. This is so ridiculous and i went to last moment hustle.

I called Customer service line 7 times and I never got the chance to talk to them. And, the car I was provided, the AC doesn't work. Upon return I told them my bad experience and they only said they are sorry.
First of all the young lady I saw when I came in to the store was very nice but were i had the first problem was your insurance on the van was2 times and a half more than i ever payed i wanted to walk out but I didn't i am so sorry i didn't when i came back to check the van back in the guy y'all had working was so so unprofessional just because he was helping someone else at the time he told me I could just leave what type of mess is that with out checking mileage gas damage or anything and i fill I was over charged I would appreciate if to whom it may concern I would like if i had back the15 dallors for insurance i only rented a van i never seen a bill for a van this high so if i don't here from someone about this soon that will be the end of business for good with you guys

There is no improvement necessary. The Bronzeville located is among one of the best in Chicago. The staff is excellent. They are always ready to help. I always recommend this location to all of my friends or anyone needing to move or need storage.
I rented a truck to pick up at 11am and they called me at 10am the morning of my move and said it wouldn't be available until 12:30p. They couldn't extend my time and my building has specific elevator reservation periods. It was stressful trying to cut my move down by that much time. The workers there were helpful and friendly, but it was a tough moving experience.
I had trouble dropping the truck off, came back after hours and was unable to get on your site to complete drop off. Since I was unable to do that I was charged 20$. I have a time stamped video of a walk around and a pick off mileage and gas gage. I feel like I had been scammed by U-Haul. I will most likely not use U-Haul ever again. This was no fault of the store I visited.
They charged me for gas when I know for a fact I put gas back in the vehicle. Gas hand also was not in spot they said it would be when starting off.
