I disputed a $5 extra charge because I did not pick up the moving blankets. I was still charged anyway. I got a message saying a supervisor would call me in a day or two after I disputed the charge - no call. I had to get on chat and kick things up myself. I was neither greeted nor apologized to be the service rep. I prompted those myself, as well. I feel I deserve way more than just my $5 back. What's worse is that I doubt anyone with uhaul reading this will give a friggin rip.

I did not like some of the policies. For example, the man who completed my checkout started that there isn't an option to pay upfront for refueling to be included in the rental price and the truck had to be returned to the original location or I would be accessed a $50 fee. I thought U-Haul offered those options and I was disappointed that I was wrong.

I had requested a one way truck from your site but was given one that had to be returned. In no way on your site did it let me know that prior to completing the order. Additionally, it was extremely difficult to get information or an estimate for a one way trip truck. Overall the process was excruciating long and difficult and it seemed difficult to impossible to get answers to our questions.

Dollies weren't available to rent. The parking lot is a nightmare. The truck I rented was not cleaned out. Dirt and soil all in the back but I am expected to return it swept out.

Van was beat up. Couldn’t open side door because it was damaged. Weatherstripping fell off when opening rear doors. Also reserved thru mobile device and was supposed to be able to check in thru device when arriving which wasn’t possible because there was no vehicle assigned to my reservation

Staff very friendly and polite. U-haul very clean. The only thing I did not like was that the cashier explained the gas tank was at half of tank and to bring it back at half of tank but at time of return I noticed paperwork stated the uhaul having more than a half of tank of gas, which was so untrue. Lesson learned always always check sheet to make sure everything matches, this is my advice to everyone. And Thank God the gas I replaced went past the half tank mark or I would have been paying more money

In addition to the truck, we also reserved a Dollie. We didn’t realize until we started moving our items at our place when we realize that we were not given a Dollie. I was charged an additional fee for the Dollie, so I would greatly appreciate it if I’m reimbursed for that.

The process was extremely frustrating. First, the app wouldn’t acknowledge my being on site. Then the app took a long time to verify my rental. Then it wouldn’t accept my debit card for payment, even though I used it for my reservation. I was on the Live Chat, 1-800 line, and FB messenger for more than an hour before I got help. I lost more than an hour of my move time because I was sitting in the truck waiting for service.

I dropped the trailer after hours. I did not realize that I had to go online and end the trip but I called the drop off location first thing the next morning and they said everything was fine. A week or so later I got a call from U-Haul about my reservation being still open? They did not seem to know if I had turned the trailer in. My reservation was for just one day. I called and they said that they had to check with the drop off location to see if the trailer was in fact turned in.

Hitch installation time was unexpectedly changed Difficult to get in touch with someone in-charge Asked me to drop the car at 8 AM - could have dropped it in the afternoon if no one was going to be working on it Car window damaged while at the location No word from manager or insurance company regarding liability I don't recommend this location at all. As a matter of fact, I needed to rent a trailer, but opted to go to the Mayfield location instead of this E 55th st. location.

Dropped off trailer 5:20 PM Sunday after hours but an employee was there and helped drop trailer. Followed his instructions for return. He said it would done Monday. Never happened until 5 days later. UHaul kept calling me asking me to return the unit but I already did. Very poor customer service and no direct line to that location.

U-Haul Moving & Storage at Mayfield Rd is one of the best I have used in my career. It is a very busy office but Mr. Rodney and staff do a great job to take care of every customer. The office is under going a great renovation to make it even better. This is the place to go for expert UHAUL services.

The only thing I would suggest is perhaps a “Troubleshooting Guide” be on board the vehicles to show potential issues that would be extremely helpful especially related to dash lights.

The first person I spoke to was a man. He was sighing at me, unfriendly, and seemed frustrated that I was even there. Very very rude. Told me my truck reservation was canceled when it was not, with no effort to fix the situation. Then a woman offered to help me and she completely fixed the situation and was very friendly and knowledgable. If she was not there I wouldn't have ranked it average. I wish I remembered her name so she could get credit for picking up his slack.

I was very disappointed in my recent U-Haul rental. I rented a U-Haul to move a dining room set and I will look elsewhere in the future. I was hardly greeted upon entering. Also, I am older and I think that they got me the worst vehicle on the lot. It had 122,000.00 miles and needed serious maintenance work. The battery went dead when I reached my destination and thankfully a man had jumper cables to get the truck going. The truck was very difficult to control and I never felt safe driving it. It was also dirty and the cup holder looked like someone spilled soda in it. The truck looked as bad on the inside as it drove. The men that were helping me said that I must have looked like an easy mark to the U-Haul folks and I had to agree with them. Very disappointed. Sad Face..

I was double charged and cannot get anyone to change the charge on my card. Given the now hour wait to rectify the issue I suspect systemic fraud in system. This is true of companies that try to push all electronic reservation/pickup. The charge to card was unauthorized.

Took too long to get service with a reservation. On line did not work. Only one person there and one customer. But waited over 30 minutes. Then the van I rented, uhaul person licked keys in it. Had to go back and get order changed. Length has of time just took too long. Check in was fine.
