Uhaul is a great company.
Office was closed. I called Uhaul number on my contract. The lady wasn't helpful. I could not return it online and she kept referring me to Uhaul website but I had to create an account. I couldn't do it. Ended up leaving voicemail for owner of drop off explaining this. I was still charged 20.00 check in few.
Even having had a reservation for a 10 a.m. pick up, the owner decided not to show up until around 11:30. There was no phone call letting me know he was going to be an hour and a half late. When I questioned him on it he gave me a dirty look and said he had to pick up his daughter and that nothing is cut and dry. This is the second time in a few years that I've had to use this location and it will be the last. The first time was the same experience. I had a reservation and no one showed up for about an hour and a half to two hours after. This is one of the most poorly-run locations I have ever had to deal with. I will still use U-Haul but I will not use this one.
Location and Manager excellent!
The rear loading door was frozen shut and no one was present to help with opening the door. I was able to get it working but that shouldn't be the case. If my wife or daughter had rented the truck they wouldn't have been able to open the door.
Trailer leaked in two spots. Clearance light, left front on fender didn't work. Did the job tho'

Pick up was at 9am. No one was at the location. Had to track down the Owner and call UHaul. The trailer was not hitched up correctly. I was 2 1/2 hours late and had to pay an extra $140 to my hired help. Also the drop off location was never changed. I was not given a refund for the difference. Very disappointed in UHaul. I have been a loyal customers for years. A $50 credit was applied to my account automatically which does not cover my loss. If UHaul wants to keep my business I expect a better attempt then a $50 credit.
Got there to rent a truck no one around, call the number they provide to get and answering machine that it full so you couldn't leave a message.
It is to far out. The truck are in one place and you have to drive to another place to pick up the key. They are not in much so you can't get ahold of any when you need to.
It is a well located and busy dropout location for Uhaul trucks, but I have never seen any personnel in that location (it is just a very small cabin). I always have to use the Internet application to drop the rented truck. I do not know what somebody would do without a proper phone and without Internet connection.
The person is not always available online and is not always available to remove the trailer from the car and give a receipt immediately. This is alright if the customer can detach the trailer from the car himself or herself and is willing to accept a delay of a few days to receive a receipt. The intervening days will not have proof that the trailer was not stolen or damaged after dropping it off.

This owner was amazing in regards to customer service. Our box truck broke down in Colebrook, NH and we are based in Concord, NH. He helped us get a truck within a 1/2 hr so we could get back home without waiting for hours to be picked up. Great customer service & kindness!!

I had stopped by a day earlier to ask a few questions, and to ensure that the truck would be ready to go at the 10:00 am reservation time. I was assured that it would be ready by 10:00 and warmed up for me. The next day I showed up shortly before 10:00, and not one person was there to hand me the truck keys. I placed 3 calls to the owner's cell phone. The first call went out shortly after 10:00, and I got his Voicemail. The second call went out about 20 minutes later. And I got his Voicemail. Each time, I left a message saying that it was beyond the 10:00 reservation time, and that I needed someone to call me back promptly. I got no calls back. Shortly before 11:00 I managed to reach the owner on my 3rd call. I let him know that I was quite upset that after my taking the time to show up a day earlier, and after his promises that everything would be ready, that we were now about an hour late on the reservation. After waiting about 10 more minutes, he finally showed up, and we completed the truck rental process. The easy part of a reservation is when one takes the reservation. The hardest, but most important part of the reservation is keeping the reservation that was made, and confirmed a day earlier. Very disappointing U-Haul truck rental. I returned the truck after hours, and I guess I need to call my psychic hotline to find out how much I was charged for the rental. It seems to me that by now, I should have gotten an e-mail showing the exact charges for yesterday's rental.
