The location and the actual service pocking the uhaul up was great. The actually experience was nerve racking, i will not recommend it to anyone and for future services such as these i will be seeking other resources. The gas mileage was not at 5/8 as stated in the into process. I only used 37 miles and was at 3/8 of a tank. No way i used 1/4 of a tank in 37 miles and it shouldnt have cost me right at $20 to put it back where i was told it needed to be, even with prices being what they are. With that being said, the very first night i had the vehicle it wouldnt start on me as i was leaving from my first drop off. I got to messing with the connection of the cables and finally got it to crank. Once cranked i just put the uhaul in the driveway of my new place to come back tomorrow thinking everything was going to be ok and i could get back at it, nope. Once again it wouldn't crank. Tighting the battery connections up. Jiggles the wiring. Hooked it up to jumper cables, and after 15 minutes finally got it to crank again. Left to go back for another load, and once loaded, again wouldn't crank. This time I fought the thing for 30 minutes and left it running. Loaded it, drove to drop off, still leaving it running then left to just get gas and bring the thing back and be done with it. Unreliable and i didnt want to have to call to have it towed, or worked on or get penalized for improperly maintained equipment. Im in the maintenance and servicing industry and knew enough to get it going for the last time and be done with it. Error on dash keeps telling me to tighten up the gas cap, and it also smells like gas while your driving and i had no gas equipment in the uhaul. Im a pretty easy going guy and again, i will be seeking other resources the next time im In need of this type of service.

Comment U-Haul Fonctionnement des avis1st the rental I requested two days in advance was unavailable due to the company not putting a key out. So I had to go 10 miles out my way for a SMALLER truck which caused me to make 3 trips back & fourth to my storage & again a extra 10 miles on the truck miles to return the rental. There needs to be a system to be sure a rental is available for exact pick up time. Or some sort of compensation if it isn’t. I had to pay $100 for something should have been $60 all together. This is not the 1st time I rented a rental & had to move locations.
Emily WThese people were so accommodating!! It was on my end that I had to turn in the truck later than scheduled and they didn’t have a problem. I’m sure they did but they handled the scheduling and rescheduling of others with utter professionalism. I was blessed to have been given this location . Thank you staff at “Rusty Rose Vintiques” !! RICHARD MThe location was great, but I originally reserved at a location much closer to my house and was asked to pick up here. I had to drive an extra 24 miles total, which added $1/mile and more gas. This was not Rusty Rose’s fault.
