In spite of what it said on my file, I was definitely not contacted about the change in equipment and pickup location. I was lucky someone in the line at the Moncton Main Street location was kind enough to drive me way out to Lakeville, because the U-Haul employees clearly weren't going to help out. Not impressed with them. Big Joe's was fine though.

The pick up and drop off were excellent it was the run around I got before hand that was very aggravating !! I had ordered a truck from a location close to my apartment a the time, had everything set up two weeks in advance. Then they called to confirm the move and said they made a mistake with the order and they did not have a drop off location to the place I was moving to .. Dont you think they should have known that when placing the order ... That was fine they made the arrangements to pick up at the moncton downtown location and drop off there as well. Perfect.. I though .. They called me the day of my move and the size of truck I wanted wasnt going to be there. They offered me a smaller size which would not fit all my stuff. They said they would call me back in 10 minutes which never happened. We then cancelled that order and made a new one with "discounts" at another location 10 minutes outside of town and drop off at the same location. These plans were made 10 minutes before everyone was suppose to get here to start moving. We went and got that truck and everything was fine .. While unloading the new truck at the apartment uhaul calls again and asks if I was going to pick up the truck at the downtown location, which was previously cancelled. Uhaul really needs to have a better system for ordering moving trucks. Its a stressful time moving to begin with but this company made my experience 100 times more stressful. I will never use uhaul again !!! and NEVER recommend it to anyone!!

well it is in a machine shop so very dirty place but friendly service. the tire on the truck were terrible. they should have NOT let us leave with it. good thing it was kind a cool weather on the road

I had a truck booked for Saturday August 30,2014 (Booked almost a week in advance) Got a phone call Friday at 3:00 PM that you made a mistake - double booked and I no longer have a truck. I was forced to move Friday night and have the truck back by 10:00 am - therefore leaving me with no help....I had to move all night long - by myself because you double booked. Worst experience ever.......to top it off when i spoke to Brian Herman (Store Manager Moncton NB) he informed me that he knew for 2 days that he was double booked........yet only contacted me at 3:00 on a Friday afternoon. I had to leave work early - to get to Moncton before 5:00PM to pick up a truck. I can be reached at 506-871-3757. I would love to hear from somebody

I have rented from U Haul the past two weekends neither of was very smooth or enjoyable the location at Walker Rd. Windsor has extremely dropped my confidence in U Haul the first weekend I rented a 6x12 enclosed trailer which cost me two hundred and tenty dollars to rent for 24 hours because it was a one way to London this was a long way from the 19.95 advertised price , the other more important issue was I have a Jeep TJ that I towed this with this was allowed both on the computer booking and at this particular location I believe this is a dandgerous situation as the two short wheel bases combine for poor control . I would like to say that I personnally have had a vast amount of towing and loading experience and payed close attention to the weight distribution as I had noticed and coimented on the tongue weight of the trailer when hooked on to my vehicle . the issue was that with the trailer loaded with approximately 900 pounds it would fish tail uncontroabley at speeds in excess of 35 miles per hoyr and that made my trip not the usual 1.5 hours but 4 hours . The next issue I experienced was also to do with the Windsor Walker Rd. location and it was specifically with the attendent Amber she was unprofessional and incompetent I completing her work , she had called me on Thursday Aug. 12 to confirm my reservation and I returned her call to confirm my resevation for a 26 foot truck one way to London I arrived as per our conversation on time at 6:45 pm Friday August 13 where I had my son drop me off to pickup the truck , only to be told in a not so apologetic manor that she had rented my resrved truck earlier in the afternoon and had only a 17 available this was very upsetiing both personally and scheduleing as I had moving helpers arranged for 7:30 pm at my house , the gentleman from this location took over as Amber was more concerned with going out then resolving the issue at hand I ended up having to do a rental of a 17 truck to drive to Amherstburg to rent a 26 from that location the gentleman at the Winsor location told me that I would be awarded money back or mileage if need be to correct for my incnveience on arrival in Amherstburg the attendant there told me he could not do any thing ,I am needing to rent another trailer tomorrow in London and would very much appreciate that U Haul would credit me something for my inconveiences over the past two weekends Thankyou Mike Dyson

I wasn't told of the $100 deposit for a one way truck. I was told it would be given back when I returned the truck. However we turned it in late at night and when I went for my refund the next day was told that it would be coming from corporate. This is a 'hidden' expense that I could not afford.

Our main complaint was in waiting. The only store attendant had to pump gas, wait on other customers & try to fill out our paperwork.

We waited over an hour to pick up the truck because there were issues with another customer dropping off a different truck and the computer was freezing up. Then because this U-Haul is located at a gas station the man had to help other customers and pump gas so it took even longer to help us and another U-Haul customer (besides the issues with the computer) He also had problems entering all of my info (about 5 times) even though I had reserved the truck online and all this information was entered ahead of time. Once we returned the truck we were then again held up for over half an hour because we would have been charged a fee to sweep out the truck, so we did it ourselves to avoid this. Then the computer was having problems again and we were being over charged instead of the fee that was agreed to in our confirmation email, luckily we spoke to a manager from U-Haul and he was able to correct the problem for us. I have used U-Haul in the past with no problems but this was a moving day nightmare. I will never again rent from this location and trust me everyone who helped that day or asked how moving went was told about the horrible service we recieved.
