Original location was Elk River for 12:00 pm pick up. We were called around 10:30 am that the prior person wouldn't have the truck back until 1:30 pm. When we went to pick up the truck at 1:30 PM the agent tried calling the person and now the truck would be back at 7:00 pm. We were sent to Coon Rapids to get a replacement truck. At Coon Rapids the agent was friendly and pulled the truck out for me. I asked him for help to use the app to note the existing damage and was told mo one uses that, just take video. When I returned the truck the agent said there was new damage. He said I didn't know how to drive a big truck and must have hit a pole at SA. I started to respond and the agent spoke over me, raised his voice and said it was new damage. I told him i heard him and to listen to me. I stated that I had a license to drive a bus and knew how to drive a large truck. When I tried to explain that I was told not to use the app, he repeated 3 times that everyone uses the app. The agent who helped me wasn't there and I was told there was no way to get ahold of him. In the end I agreed to pay the $300 damage because I had people at my house waiting to help me unpack. The agent at Coon Rapids was unprofessional, spoke over me, raised his voice and told me I just6had to pay the damage cost. U-haul didn't have a truck at the time I reservoir, mafe8me drive an additional 30 Mike's, which I was charged miles for, and then had rude agents. I do not recommend U-haul to anyone. Find another delivery compant8. Trucks aren't available at gsuranteed9 and agents very rude.

Staff are fine with renting the equipment but can not assist with any issues. We had a discount they couldn’t apply to our rental...we waited 25 minutes to find out with 3 staff members working on it, it didn’t happen. Then through this process they double charged us for the rental. The first call I made to tell them we were double charged the staff was not helpful staying, no we didn’t...yet I was looking at it on my credit card statement. He told me it was an issue with my bank. So called the bank, no I was double charged, called U haul again and talked to the manager. Way too much time spent fixing their mistakes!! We rent often and will now go to a different rental location!!!

Reserved the truck with them for a day (24 hrs) on the phone. Came in to the reservation being for only 4 hours. The owner said we were wrong and they were right in very condescending ways. He pulled up the recording of the call, which took almost 30 minutes extra of our time to prove us wrong, but it actually proved us right. He did extended the rental to the end of their business hours (an extra 6 hours), but it was still short and a pain for us to rush the move. Overall his staff was decent to us, but he was very rude and crass to my older father, and I, who had done everything right. Would highly recommend avoiding them.

Rented on Sunday At 3:45 for one day , said if we brought it back by the end of the day on Monday we would be charged for one day, brought it back on Monday before the of the work day and they what they told us was wrong and they had to charge me for two days. What a complete scam will never use u haul agai and will tell everyone I know that u haul is a bunch of crooks

Staff were very knowledgable and helpful. I felt very comfortable with them. Nearly every time I was there, it was very busy. This location would be perfect if the wait wasn't so long, including phone calls and in-person service. The installed a trailer hitch that I love!

When reserving a pickup truck online, there was no mention of the over 20% Rental Tax that would be charged. Knowing the additional charge may not have changed my decision, but I prefer to know the total cost prior to renting.

When I was in there waiting to be waited on, it was kinda awkward because none of the employees were talking between them and the lack of music in the store area gave it an awkward feeling.

When I returned the truck Jake C wanted to charge me for 2 days, when I only was supposed to be charged for 1. He also got an attitude with me, this location has the worst!!! Service ever. I refuse to recommend you to anyone, until you get employees that care about customers instead of how they wanna rip off customers

Better customer care by maitaining eye contact with the customer, while signing the papers, rather than presenting a callous, rude, and prevaricating countenance, can be a start. The experience was utterly unpalatable in Coon Rapids, MN, and at the Erie steet Chicago drop off site. The attitudes were highly deplorable, to say the least. Arrogance and flat out indifference were palpable at both the sites.

I had called on the 14th of June to change my pickup location to the Blaine Uhaul as I could not get ahold of them. The guy that answered (Sam I believe) called them for me and transferred my reservation to the Blaine location for noon to 6 pm on the 30th. When I showed up at noon on the 30th they said no such reservation had been made and I was still at the CR location. So after not even receiving an apology, I head to CR and am then told my reservation was for 2 PM, not noon. So after I tell them about them transferring me to the Blaine location and that it never happened the guy that said he was the one that talked to me on the 14th was him and that they cannot transfer reservations that's done through some other service. So somehow this guy remembers talking to me specifically 16 days prior but doesn't remember telling me I was good to go. This was the most frustrated I have been in quite some time and with the stresses of moving, this was above and beyond the stress levels anyone should have to deal with. I never received an apology nor was offered anything for the mixups that were solely stemming from your end.

I had a confirmed rental for a 15 foot truck and 16 foot trailer. The trailer was not available. At first , they blamed me for showing up late and they rented to someone else only to learn the trailer had broken. I had to be out of my house the next day. Not a good situation and I will not rely on U Haul again.

This locations was great!! I had originally booked at Minneapolis Auto Center, when I arrived they did not have a truck for me. The only help I received from them was wait and one might get returned. Otherwise the guy was rude and not helpful at all!! Do no rent from this location. They should not be a U-Haul dealer!! This cost me 2 hours of move time and 40 miles of extra drive time. I had to call U-Haul customer service to get a rental truck.

The seal on the backdoor was old and worn out. It rained on my trip, and my property was damaged due to the poorly maintained equipment (door seal). I told this to the U-Haul center in Gresham where I dropped the trailer off, and received no response. I should have received a partial refund to cover the cost of my damaged property. I am very unhappy !

Why not complete the paperwork then take the customer out to get the trailer/equipment. I come in, have to go back out to hookup then come back in again ...Seems like a huge waste with excessive chasing on the customer's part....

Great experience. The only suggestion I would have is to either have people do stuff on-line or have the staff do it, seemed like a lot of people started on the app and then the store staff did it also.

I reserved my uhaul well over a month in advance ask for a very specific time slot. I requested Thursday afternoon to Friday afternoon and was changed. A reservation is a reservation it shouldn’t change wether or not someone has it before or after me. That is a terrible way to do business. You’re service makes or breaks a move for people and at one point I didn’t know if I was gonna be able to move. Terrible customer service would not reccomend.

I was a little confused when I was informed I had the rental until 8:30P, my allotted 6 hours, yet not informed of the 24/7 return- I was there to return the item at 8p, only to find the location closed..( signage needs to be made bigger- I was so worried about the return, I never seen the sign) needed to make a separate trip- 40 Minutes one way to return the next am so it was there by 7a, Im a little PO to say the least, thankfully no extra charges..
