Hire more people, and hire front end people with customer service skills. If that means paying them a better wage, do it. This location was grossly understaffed on a Saturday morning. The level of customer service was also lacking. I was told that the computer system is very slow on the weekend because U-Haul does system maintenance on the week end. Customer service when I finally found someone was good, but I was sitting idly by for a few minutes waiting for a representative in the store. And upon calling the store later that day to inform them on the status of my vehicle rental, I was on hold for almost 10 minutes. I had reserved a truck 2 weeks earlier at a different location but it was not there when I went to pick it up. I was very frustrated and disappointed that no one contacted me. Need to hire more help. It took two hours today to pick up a reserved truck and get a receipt. This is no reflection on the obviously over-worked staff. They did their jobs as fast as they could...
