This is by far the worst experience I've had renting a vehicle with Uhaul. I rented a pickup for no more than 3 hours. The employee checking me out never walked out to the vehicle. The same happened at check in. I asked for a receipt and he never left the desk, and just said it would be emailed to me shortly. Three days passed so I called to follow up on the invoice and they never checked the vehicle in. After my call they checked in the vehicle and charged me for 2 additional days. I've been on the phone with customer service 3 times and still don't have the issue resolved. I've spent more time dealing with billing than I actually used the vehicle. I now have two charges on my card, both for amounts greater than what was actually used. I will certainly never use this location again, and may find services outside of Uhaul. This has been a truly terrible experience on all levels, and I'm still not finished dealing with it.

The truck was dirty when I picked it up. Using the 24x7 app on my phone, I said it was dirty and took a picture. When I dropped it off, the app asks, is it clean. NO ITS NOT because it wasn't when I picked it up. Then it wants to charge me $25 to clean it. GUESS WHAT MORONS - if I said its dirty when I picked it up, its still dirty when I drop it off and I am not paying for that. ALSO, the truck has no license plate on it.

The problem was this. When we went to pick up our truck WITH a confirmation #, it was not in the system and the very nice man at the desk said this has happened before. All that said I did not call Baker Fairview direct, but rather went through the 800 # for a reservation. Everything worked out but had it not, it makes for an unhappy customer.

When I rented the truck a month ahead of time, I rented an appliance dolly to move our refrigerator; when I went to pick up my truck and equipment the worker on site told me that they did not have one and I would have to try and go to other uhauls to find one.

Could not find the key box!! On the app it shows a decently size orange box on a pole. It took 20 minutes of prowling around to locate the post it note taped on the door that says 'key drop'.

At least clean the windshields and the mirrors they were so filthy I couldn't see out of them otherwise experience was great

App was not efficient. Took me 45 minutes to complete the pick up process on the app. We needed the 45 minutes to complete moving. Called to ask what the flexibility was if we were behind schedule. Informed that we would be charged the same amount and mileage for the 2nd half of the day. Understand it’s important to be on time but would be nice if we had a grace period window to arrive.

Great customer service, however our key was not in the lockbox. We had to wait until the store opened to get our key. We were scheduled to pick up the key at 8am, but had to wait an hour until the place opened and then we were able to get our key.

The overall experience was good. However, I opted for mobile pick-up and had to go to the counter to assist me. This wasted some of my time. Please take a note to ensure mobile pick-up works well. More details: I went online to uhaul.com and selected my recent reservation and was told to go to next step to continue and select the vehicle. However, I was taken back to a FAQ page which took me again to a page which took me back again to a page to continue. Basically, It was all in a loop and frustrated me. please ensure this is working fine. Additionally, I had a pick-up at 10:00 AM & drop-off at 2:00 PM. I took the rental around 12:30 PM and went to return the vehicle around 1:55 PM. There was no one at the counter and I had to drop-off key inside the office door. In the evening, what I see is an additional pending charge for additional day which should not be the case. Please correct & update the correct amount. Finally, your customer service call waiting time is too long, I had to wait for 10 minutes and finally gave up on hope to get connected with anyone. Please do not do this to your customers. You guys are great & I hope you improve.

When I booked online the confirmation was at my preferred location. The day of the pick up I called to let them know I was running late but the call went to voicemail I let a message no one every called back. I went to get the van and was told he did not have a truck for me despite what my paperwork said. I think his name was manny his customer service skills are horrible. I then called U HAUL customer service and was on hold forever (horrible). The customer service person aploigized for U-Haul not contacting me with the location pick up change but brushed it odd like oh my time sitting on hold forever and driving to wrong locations is not big deal ? My time does have a little value. I was told of the new location to get the van, the service at this location was excellent but I want to pick up near my home that is why I put in my preferred location. That rental was $506.00. Since then I rented another U HAUL this time you texted the location to get the truck again not near my house and I live near plenty of U-Haul locations. I get this system is all about not moving inventory and having the customer drive farther to maximize profits but don’t think this makes us happy. Also I am sure you know the trucks are always dirty on the outside? Yes that saves money increases profits but a $20.00 wash once a week or twice a month would be ok? In the past 60 days I probably spent $1500 at U-Haul so I am an active customer. I would not waste my time writing this nor waste your time reading this for nothing. The customer experience is horrible.
