Better per mile rates. This was terribly expensive.

We did have a low oil light come on when we parked the Uhaul in Greenwood.
Jennifer AOur experience with U-Haul earlier this week was an absolute nightmare. I ordered a truck online and did not realize we were booked at a location other than our chosen location. I checked in online providing a family member as a required contact for U-Haul in case of an emergency. I answered ALL of the questions and uploaded Driver's License. We went to the location we thought we were renting from at 9:00am - then had to drive 30 mins to the other location. Upon arrival we had to "Check-in" again! We had numerous calls with U-Haul. We were then told that they could not reach our emergency contact. Why did they have to call my Sister when we were checking in - provided credit card - DL - etc. Luckily we were able to contact her to let her know to answer the phone. U-Haul called her and she confirmed we are who we are? I called U-haul back AGAIN to be told we had to check in AGAIN - now 4-5 times. The U-Haul rep was rude and said they could not verify the rental as they could not reach my Sister. We told her that she had just gotten off the phone with U-Haul - again she insisted that my sister would not answer her phone. We were then told that the selfie that had to be uploaded was supposed to be the driver - we assumed it was for the credit card which is my girlfriends card. We had to check in AGAIN - upload the driver;s license AGAIN. What was supposed to be a 9:00am pick up ended up taking 2 hours. Upon return we were charged $67 in gas - even though we had put gas in the truck. We had 3 more calls and emails to show a picture of the dash (Luckily we took one - showing truck had barely 1/4 tank of gas) and to be told we need to fill up upon return. We emailed the picture of dash and gas receipt. We did get an adjustment to remove the gas charge. We were not offered any type of apology or credit for the numerous check-ins/calls/emails and waste of an additional 3 hours of our time with U-haul "customer service". We will be needing a truck rental 2-3 more times in the upcoming months - do not plan on U-Haul.
