I had a reservation for a month and when I arrived to the location I found out that my reservation was cancel 5 days ago and that U-Haul picked the truck up for maintenance but I didn’t received no type of notification, not to let me know problem neither to give me an update to where I have to go to pick a truck, I was to reported to my job on Monday instead I just late a day on my first day, I had to call the office and worked a new reservation, after couple calls and disconnections finally I have a lady that heard my situation and told me that she will find me a truck and she did worked out, it was a bigger truck over $ 300. More ( $430. Expended on gas ) her name is Debbie, she help me while everyone else have me the “ I am sorry, but we can’t do nothing “ well I pick the truck at the new location ( 30-35 miles away) and this miles were charged to my trip. I pick the truck on Sunday and I was on my way on Monday at 2:00 am, while driving to New Jersey I check my account and I noticed a charge for $ 264.56, this was a charge that U-Haul charged to my account for a trailer that has being just returned in Massachusetts ( how in hell I am driving to Jersey and turned a trailer in Massachusetts at the same time) once I got to my home in Jersey I called U-Haul again the two ladies that I spoke to didn’t offer any help and I was told to call my bank which I did and they were aware and will take care of the issue. I really don’t know if the personnel that you have working is aware of all the ways that they can help and deal with situations like my, but I can said that customer service is out of the window, this could it being my worse if wasn’t for Debbie and the returning place manager Sam Holland that did show the understanding and worked to help me, without this two persons my rates will be -2, hope that this reach to someone that look into this situation and work proactive to avoid them in the future.

Issue were not with Uhaul location operators, but with Uhaul system being slow preventing a quick checkout process at the start. Also, I am very upset that Uhaul does not have a credit policy for returning the truck with $60 (half a tank more than we started) worth of gas. I did not get instructions on how much gas to fill the truck and so I overfilled it to the benefit of Uhaul. If this can be rectified, then I will gladly continue to use Uhaul in the future. Otherwise, I am likely to never use Uhaul again.

Inspect equipment properly and help the customer attach trailer. Had no license plate. Got pulled over by police. Very disappointed. Was told I was going to get a call back from headquarters(George) never got a call back. Won’t get any equipment from U-Haul again. Very poor service

William didn’t want to check the tank gauge level because he was busy as he said. I have pictures of the tank gauge and mileage. I showed him. Today, I get a surprising additional fuel charge. Not cool. I would be happy to share the pictures of before and after to proof my case. Let me know please.

Service was poor with some very bad attitude I needed to use the bathroom but was denied “the bathroom is for employees only” By law they can not do that . If you are servicing up to 50 people in your business location you have to provide a bathroom I will always rent fromU-hall but NEVER THAT LOCATION AGAIN

I picked up the van on 8/16 at 7:00 pm and parked my car on the same parking lot, just in front of the spot where the U-Haul van was, it all looked like a U-Haul area and as I used my phone to pick up the van I didn’t have the opportunity to talk with someone about it. When I returned the van on 8/17 by 4:00 pm my car was not there. After calling 911 I knew it was towed. I had to spend 3 hours with my little girls on a very ugly place to pick up my car and pay $150.44 for the towing and storage. This is not the first time I rent from you and I’ve always left my car on your locations. Honestly this situation is very inconvenient for my business. I won’t use this location again.
