I was charged an extra day even though the vehicle was returned within the time as specified in the reservation, the vehicle was not fueled up at the time of pick up, which led to half an hour to a fuel location and fuel up prior to the vehicle being useful, but Uhaul didn't grant a grace period of half an hour. I understand this is a failing/ailing business and it needs all the Penny it can pinch, but this is just terrible customer relationship which this company doesn't think it affects the bottom line.

Better lighting needed for after hours pickup, the lockbox area was not lit, potential safety/security risk.
Please change your gas fill up policy. Provide a truck with a full tank and expect a full tank upon return to avoid any disagreement on where the gas gauge needle should be upon return to avoid a very high gas charge. Other than that the vehicle performed well and was in good shape.
GPS takes one down a deadend street, not to the actual drop off place. Better directions would be nice
Return was quick and easy, service rep was friendly and helpful.
At the drop off the person just acted like I was bothering him. No direction or instruction. I had to ask do I need to sign or do anything and he said no. Just wasn't helpful.
For my local work, this went well and costs reasonable.. We had a little confusion about my intended pickup time that later resulted in my confusion about dropoff. I dropped off next morning, locked up and left the keys, when I got to my new home I tried to respond online and saw where I needed a phone to complete the dropoff process. I registered but could not take pictures etc. since the keys where inside the facility. I got both Chat help & phone assistance from Tiffany who assured me she would Note the issue.
Appoint competent operators of UHaul dealerships and perform thorough inspections of the trucks. The alignment of the front wheels was atrocious.
The roof of the truck leaked and my boxes and matters were wet. I'm not happy. Please contact me.
It was difficult to find the key drop- maybe put an arrow near the other Uhaul signs?
The location was completely dark. The key drop was a hole in an overhead door around the side of the building. It took me 15 minutes to find the key drop in the pitch dark. No signs. The other person dropping off their truck just left the keys in it. Completely unacceptable.

This person was so rude with me , I'm sphanish , I feel discriminate, I mention to hind that he do not be rude with me that I pay lot of money for this service, that want he respect me , that I only returning the truck , I was ready to cry , he make the comment â€œ that I pay to Uhual to to him â€œ this was the worse feeling that I ever have , I'm a citizen and I have the right to be respect,
The drop off location wasn't what I originally put in. I guess it changed to give me a close location for pick up, but when I went to change the drop off location back to what I originally wanted it was not allowed without a $122 charge. I spent $220 for a four hour rental. Ridiculous. Will never do this again. Will go with a different company in the future.
Returned a trailer after hours and there was no clear indication about where the trailers should be parked. Also, they should have chocks available since parts of their parking lot are not completely level. After unhooking the trailer, mine moved a bit. Fortunately I was able to control it and found a log to chock the wheels.
Overall all locations are fine. What issues that need to be addressed are, Customer Service on the phone, nice and pleasant but incapable of informing the customer that additional charges were being applied. As a Manager that has implemented ISO standards for 400M project, I find it concerting that the helpfulness in saying, â€œno problemâ€ we can help, and upon turn-in I received news, the â€œNo Problemâ€ had a cost, that was not mentioned on the phone. On continual improvement concerns, you may want your Customer Service training to include â€œmaking the customer aware of additional charges, and new contract disclosuresâ€. If your going to charge additional because you requested the customer to return a vehicle in another state, can only mean that all parking lots are full at the local Uhaul locations, then you want to charge the Customer additional time as he coordinates a closer location. In addition, it is apparent that if parking lots are full, it's low risk for the Uhaul to be quickly dispatched for another awaiting customer. So there seems to be minimum need to charge the customer additional due to locations being full. That is not my problem, that is simple logistics. U-Haul prides itself on convenience... support that.
The back of the truck leaked allowing rainwater to ruin very expensive 2 pictures.

Key return was hidden,and sat on the phone for 20 minutes contacting UHaul to try to find out where to drop they keys while I had workers I was paying waiting with me.
