Try to get the air conditioning working inside the building. It was very stuffy in there.

Employees were very friendly and helpful when loading. The Owosso Michigan location does not load the trailers for you and I was happy to receive help at this location.

The online experience was awful! I filled out the necessary questions and then was given several locations that were available to rent from. When I then called the locations none of them actually had what I needed! I have hen had to call the number and a representative that was not actual at a location near me or even in my state had to renter the exact information I already had then it went to a “scheduler”. I had then to wait for 30 min or so until I was called with the location I could pickup at. To say this was frustrating as your phone service pushes the online experience was disappointing. I will not use the online system in the future!

The van could have been just a bit cleaner. But it was exceptable.

Employees were quick to resolve issues and with a "can do" attitude. Attitude makes a huge difference in customer experience....good or bad. Please ensure each customer arrives to a tidy vehicle. My van clearly had animal hair on both the driver and passenger seats, on the backs and seats and not just a little. Owen (?) Was very helpful after hours navigating me through the mobile return process. Things would have been much more challenging without his assistance.

We had used a credit card to reserve a 10ft truck it was Guaranteed to be at the store at the time it was reserved for or they would pay us $50 Guaranteed. We received an email the day before confirming our reservation... Nobody called to verify or ammend our reservation the day before, but when we got there... We waited in line for 30minutes and was told that they "didn't have the truck that we reserved, but we could come back tomorrow"... We explained that we could not come back tomorrow because we had an appointment to pick up furniture that we were purchasing right then.... So we showed the lady the reservation... And she said "oh, that don't matter".... I asked her about the $50 guarantee that was promised when it was reserved... She said "that don't matter either".... Finally since we couldn't come back another day, she had them unlock a bigger 17ft truck for us... We paid and signed, but nobody told us anything except the time to bring it back and to fill the gas back up... There was less gas on the truck than they said there was and of course since it was a larger truck than we wanted it also used more Haas for our 100+ mile trip... The truck itself was in really bad shape with quite a bit of bored damage and a crack in glass, burn holes inside and smelled terrible of old stale cigarette smoke... We smelled that for over 2 hours of driving...when we picked up the bedroom set that we purchased, it actually Moved all around in the truck because that size truck was way too big For picking up a bed and dresser, but we didn't have any choice because after the long line and nothing else available we were already late to pick it up.... We were checked in by a man and I asked him what happened with our reservation and he didn't know... We mentioned that the reservation stated that U-Haul states that they would pay us $50 If they didn't have the size truck we reserved at the time and location that was reserved... He didn't not respond.... I mentioned that we had asked the lady about it and she said "it didn't matter"... He still didn't respond.... He gave me my receipt and I left... I googled your company Guaranteed Reservation or you pay us $50 policy and found multiple class action lawsuits pertains to the same problems.... I would never recommend U-Haul to anybody that I know.

Pick up was great I got there early and so were the workers got on my way. I changed my pick up day from Friday to Saturday with no problem very satisfied with u haul

The fuel should always be on 1/2 a tank - Leaving out of uhaul... Easier to remember and return. Or at least 1/4 tank. Thanks

reserved car transport 10 weeks early. I called the day before I was to pickup to make sure every thing was ok and I was told that there was NOT a trailer for me at this location. what good is your reservation system that is advertised if you can not keep it. needless to say I was not very happy with this situation. I will say the miller road store was able to find one so I could go to the car show. please follow thru with your promise about reservations so this will not happen again! thanks, jim.

When picked up van had funny smell but not to bad. Took home loaded and the next morning when I got in funny smell was now a nasty outhouse smell. To late to take back coveres seat with plastic so my clothes would not smell. Just a nasty smell and a dirty van. When dropped off told them about the smell they said they would use frabreeze. Not clean it. Like I said if I could have returned it I would have. Chances are Uhaul will ne my last choice in van rentals.

I called to make a reservation for a tow dolly. There is a UHAUL dealer within 3 miles of my home. The reservation was made for that location. I went to the location to be told I had to go to the location across town. So I drove 20 minutes to the across town location, waited at least 25 minutes, while the service man tried to call UHAUL main number to be on hold the entire time, he then tried to call his manager, no response, only to be told they did not have a tow dolly and that I needed to return to the first location for service. I drove an additional 20 minutes back to the first location, waited in line....NO ONE seemed to have a clue about why I had been sent to the other location, and made a serious of excuses. I asked if they had a dolly, yes, was the response....I asked why I had been sent 20 minutes across town....they made some excuse about a mix up and my reservation being cancelled. I had given my credit card # to the person on the phone, and then again at the location, I swiped my card. He told me th amount and gave me a receipt. Then the clerk/sales person tried to radio a service person to hook up the dolly, NO RESPONSE, even though I saw at least 4 employees standing outside smoking, when I came in. The sales clerk said he would hook it up himself.. As we stepped outside, someone came on the radio and said they would hook it up. Finally I was able to head out for my destination. Upon returning the trailer I was met across the parking lot by a man wavining his arms....and motioning me to the back of the parking lot where he unhooked the dolly and asked me for my card and how was I going to pay. I said I have already given them my card and they gave me a receipt...He began to argue and became agressive. I said I will go inside and take care of it. When entering the service area, he was ranting on the radio and the clerk said, the customer is here, I will talk to you later....I asked why I needed to give my card information to him again when I had given it two times before....and I had a receipt and an email. He said the card had not been charged....I told him there had better not be any duplicate charges on my card. I also told him that his employee was agressive, argumentive and very rude. I will think twice about using UHAUL again. Not a good experience.

Only one employee working the counter, one on-line with tech support, vehicle I reserved- they lost the key, replaced with another type of vehicle and the AC only worked on and off, tried to charge me dbl the fee but oops "computer glitch". really more!

The man who helped us was very kind and knowledgeable. This was our first time not just at this U-Haul but at any U-Haul. Very well priced, lovely clean store. Would definitely recommend and use again
