The manager was rude and unprofessional. I had to pick up my auto transport here because the location that rented me the truck didn't have one. She attached the auto transport and left the truck running where it blocked anyone leaving the lot so I had to rush out. I didn't get a chance to look at the transport and record any prior damage. She also pushed me to have the first location help me load my vehicle, even though her location was paid for the auto transport rental and was responsible for anything related to it.

Checking back in they didnt enter it to system. I received emails stating I had not returned equipment. When i call number provided i got the customer service center not the recovery center and that person was no help. Just told me to call back later when recovery was open. Put the correct number in your emails.

Be understanding if someone has to turn their truck in early even if they didn’t choose drop off after hours. Plus to check the drop box completely.

Don't understand my latest bill..I just used same size truck last month and went much further and charged less.. don't understand this billing

Truck was very clean. Issues I had: 1. Ignition switch was faulty. The defect would not allow the truck to be started without multiple attempts of turning the key. Key would lockup. 2. The rear door hatch lock would not engage in a locked position, which prevented the door from being locked. Door could have opened at any time during the truck operation. This was a major safety and security concern. Both items were known by store management but were not revealed to me at time of checkout. At time of return of truck, Management said that it was U-Haul policy to wait until multiple items were accumulated before repairs were performed. If this is true, it is a TERRIBLE and unacceptable policy to a customer. Both items could have had disastrous consequences. This is not the first time a U-Haul store management was negligent in securing a rental with me. A previous issue resulted in a lawsuit between U-Haul and my auto insurance carrier, GEICO, which resulted in a financial loss to U-Haul. This will be my last rental from U-Haul.

The checkin time took about 45 minutes. The gentleman checking me on was not interested in playing with his phone. Taking my personal information down with his cell phone. Had to talk to every employee while checking me in. I WAS NOT A PRIORITY. They brought the truck in the dark didn’t park it so I could see. Asked about a form to make any notations. He told me to take pictures with my phone. When I asked about additional drivers. He said oh they don’t need to be on the contract. They are covered as long as you are with them. When returning. No one was at the return place. We dropped the keys in the box. And I called to let someone know we dropped the keys. The 800 number made a note. I was on a plane wed and received a call that my truck hadn’t been returned and I was going to be charged. So I’m trying to get everything figured out while in the airport boarding a plane. This has been my worst experience for a one way rental. Even when I came back from Hurricane Andrew in Miami. I didn’t have this much trouble.

if a customer reserves a truck for pick up at a specific location, two weeks in advance, have a truck at that location. I was sent to another location for my truck only to wait 30 minutes because uhaul did't have enough customer service help

Customer service was excellent, the location is hard to get into when coming south on Beal. I had to turn around in Star Bucks/Ruby Tuesday parking lot to navigate a right turn into the U Haul parking lot.

Lose the roll up doors. All my stuff kept shifting to the back making it very difficult to open and close the roll up door. It seems like a no brainer, but let future customers know about this issue and that they should strap their stuff to keep it from moving towards the back.

Equipment was fine. Customer service was terrible. I came in a few days earlier to rent a storage and the employees were so rude and unprofessional that I just left. I only returned to this location because it was the only one with an available moving van. I had the same experience as before, very unimpressed. A simple smile, or “hello”, or “I’ll be right with you”, would go A long way.

Training. Lots of training. Not only in Rental preparation but, Customer service. I asked a tall employee to have the Manager call me at her convenience, that never happened. Told I was at wrong location, showed employee text indicating this was exactly where we were to return the Truck. Invasive unprofessionalism at all levels we dealt with.

Some Computer issues, both on-line and at the store that need to be resolved. Was unable to complete on-line check in; when I attempted, there was no confirmation that the license pics I had uploaded previously were in the system. Local issues with the billing system
