Well... where do I start... i dropped two rentals off at the same location a couple days apart. The second rental was a 10ft truck that I had absolutely no issues with whatsoever. The gentleman that helped me on the 1st of July was great. For the 15ft truck I rented, bearing that both receipts I have for both trucks said the drop off location was the Crossroads Auto Repair on Salem Run Blvd. I received a call from a Charlene from a Kentucky UHaul office asking where the truck was and why it wasn't at the Kentucky location. I was notified that I was going to be charge $400 since it was not there. Charlene was very very nice and super helpful by the way. I would live to give her a Five Star review if possible, for she exceeded my expectations with her customer service expertise. She did all that she could and gave me the Go UHaul phone number to call. I then spoke to another great customer service representative in Violet who was also super helpful and very very nice. She saw on her end everything that I was trying to explain. I would also recommend Violet's customer service be not overlooked and would like for her to be recognized at the highest regards in a customer survey. Getting back to the Crossroads Auto Repair... the man I spoke with in person and then over the phone said that he did not have records of my return for the truck on his system, when in fact I showed him my confirmation receipt which I still have, it was set up through text message and email. After I received the call from Charlene, I then called the auto body repair to ask what was going on and the same man answered the iPhone that I dealt with in person and he remembered me. He claimed that he called me and someone answered the phone telling him that a friend of mine (which I have none in this area due to just moving to Fredericksburg) was going to pick the truck up for me. I told him that was ludacris. I asked what cell phone number did he call and he responded with no number. I then called him a liar due to the simple fact that my name was the only one on that scheduled rental, and then he goes around and rents the 15ft truck to someone else IN MY NAME AND USING MY CREDIT CARD!! HOW IS THAT IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM LEGAL?? Regardless, whether or not he could not close out my rental, I was somehow still on it while the truck was being driven by someone else, quite possibly under my DL and most definitely my cred card! That is unacceptable and I have never experienced anything like that before from any moving company. I have also never renewed or dropped off a rental truck at a tertiary business that is associated with UHaul or Penske, etc. This was a big mess and it cause a lot of headache for about 3-4 days. I would like some compensation or reimbursement for one of my rentals. I had someone other than me, drive a truck through 2-3 states using my credentials! I will except nothing less than a reimbursement of one of my rentals. I ha e also obtained the Be

My credit card was charged an extra $60 while I had posession of the truck and hadn't turned it in yet ontop of being charged $93 to rent the truck and now nobody will answer my calls or questions

After parking the truck in the only spot that appeared available, I was told to move the truck to the side of the building. I stated that I would prefer the attendant to move relocate the truck. He refused. After I relocated the truck, the attendant moved the truck to another spot.
I was not happy that I was charged for gas. I was told at the pickup location to have the same amount of gas "or thereabouts" when I returned the van. I thought i did, but was charged for gas.
Employee was very rude in assisting with the uhaul. Acted like he was being bother by my questions, or as if he didn't want my business. He even stated for me to go to another Uhaul.. guess he was too busy (lobby was empty) I originally reserved a 10' truck for 4:30p, but upon arriving realized that would not be big enough. I asked the employee if he would be able to change the original truck reserved to a bigger truck. Employee got an attitude and asked â€œwell which one do you want then?â€, â€œWe only have a 20' truck nothing else.â€ I then said ok that is fine I will take that one. We move on with the process I leave. After getting home and realizing that the original 20 hours I reserved it for, would not be enough time I then called the pick up location to see if I could extend the time a little while longer. The same guy from the day before and answered and I asked him... he says well what is a little while longer (with an attitude). I say well can I just extend it for a full 24 hours and the guy says I will have to charge you for another day of service. I said for just 4 more hours? I haven't even had it a full day yet. He said as with an attitude... â€œWell you scheduled the time.â€ If you said you would return it within 20 hours, that's when it has to be returned. I simply then say ok, and hang up. I then call the 1-800-go-uhaul #, and speak with a representative. The representative was very polite and was able to extend the full 4 hours, at no extra charge to me. Conversation took maybe 2 minutes top. I would never recommend anyone to use Cross Road Auto Service, for uhaul or for auto services. The guy at the front desk was very rude, and unhelpful. Will gladly take my money, somewhere else next time.
Staff member was rude as hell. A swift lesson in customer service is seriously needed for sure. I would never recommend anyone go to this location for a uhaul and I have made the public very aware of my experience here. He's lucky I absolutely had to get a truck to get something moved tonight or I definitely would have went elsewhere.
Lack of U-Haul signage made the location harder to find than necessary. The after hours return policy is dumb. I was told we could either download an app or call in when we returned the truck. I do not have a smart phone, so called in. The phone rep told us to go to the app (fortunately my father had a smart phone). We could not get the location tracking to work, so could not complete the return on the app. 15 minutes later the phone rep simply added a note to my account. I don't understand why it was so complicated to return the truck after hours
The gentleman who assisted us was friendly, informative and very helpful. This was our first time to rent a U-Haul and we have already recommended this location to the people whom we bought our furniture from.

The mobile check-in process was a breeze and allowed us to pick up our moving truck outside of normal business hours. The truck was clean and comfortable, although it could definitely use an alignment. No complaints and will definitely use again!
I was very confused and frustrated when I showed up at u-huall in Fredericksburg, bc it was closed. I was already tense from a difficult day of packing and coordinating logistics for the moving day. i wish you all had texted me that I would be doing the check in over the phone and not in person. I had never done that before, and while it wasn't difficult - preparation is key. It was unnecessarily stressful. Everything went smoothly. But if I was told before hand - such as a text OR when I spoke with operator or during the check out process online - it would have been a better experience.
Your website crashed 3times as I tried to rent. I had to give my information 3times. It took almost 30 minutes to get this done. Get a web tech.
