I reserved a 20 ft truck due to a tight location and when I arrived to pick it up there was only a 26 ft truck available. This is the second time I have had this issue with Uhaul but since I had hired help coming I had no choice but to take what was available.GARY A.
When renting the pick up truck or van, maybe take the mileage charge out. You are losing customers to Lowe's and Home Depot because they do not charge mileage. Other than that, I love the employees at this location! They are always friendly and fun!LORI G.

I had a reservation to pick up a 20' van from power and ray location and when I arrived there, there was no van available. This added an hour to my move. I had movers helping me and as you can imagine my costs for the move were increased. I was given a $50 refund but still very displeasedLucas B.

The gas gauge is way off. After driving for 7 miles I saw the 1/4 tank of gas is gone. So I put in more than 8 gallons of gas and it was still not full. This is when I realized the gas gauge had issues. What is worse is when I brought it up to the manager and asked how the gas mileage is only 1 mile per galleon, the manager said I may have too much heavy load. I was moving from one place to another. I have no piano or treadmill or any heavy gym equipment. I was astonished to find I was paying $3 more on top of $.99 per mile. It was like a taxi service.YU D.

I had to clean out the back of it before I was even able to use it. Been waiting to see my charge and see if I was charged for it.Robert G.
Bad experience. Young man didn't know what he was doing. Took a whole long time- maybe 45 minutes or so to get my trailer paperwork processed and I had pre-registered online. Sat forever looking between his phone and computer until finally asking for help a few times, but didn't understand what he was doing. He'd do one thing he was shown and then back to the waiting game again. Thankfully another associate finished process. Young man took me to get trailer. I got the hitch out and removed the cotter pin, put it on my car. He didn't offer to help. I couldn't get the cotter pin in and asked for help. He didn't seem to know or be strong enough to get the pin in but finally got it. He didn't tighten the ball. Chains were long enough to clang and hit the ground. I tightened it up later. I showed him how to tighten the ball- said he'd been there for a week. I am a 62 year old woman and not real strong. He didn't offer to help or check it for tightness. He had forgotten to bring the blankets to the trailer. Later on, while I was on slow road and had gone over a speed bump the hitch bounced off and slid under my car . Thankfully no harm was done, but it could have caused a HUGE accident on a busy road. Another man tightened it for me and the length of that screw went down about at least a half or 3/4 inch. This kid didn't seem like he didn't want to be there and would rather be paying computer games. He certainly didn't take an interest in his job. He stood there expecting me to do all of the heavy lifting. I don't think he even knows how to pull a trailer or even cares. He acted like he didn't care about anything- was only there for a paycheck.Kathleen R.

The customer service representative had better things to do, rather unprofessional. Did not seem to be concerned about the customers needs. Guess you can't blame them if that is not the focus of the organization. Trailer rentals is probably a tough gig sometimes.DOUGLAS K.
When we picked up our Uhaul truck, it was pretty dirty. The interior was dusty & not very well maintained. It wasn't until we were driving on the freeway, with the sun behind us, that we realized we couldn't see in the side mirrors. The mirrors were so gross & dirty that all we could see was blurred dirt as the sun's rays hit the mirror. This became a huge potential hazard while on the freeway. My husband was driving & I had to hang my body out of the passenger side window to let him know if the next lane was clear. When we returned the truck after hours, I tried to provide this information in the app. Because I stated that the truck should be cleaned before another family rented it, I was going to be charged a $25.00 cleaning fee? What?! The truck should totally be cleaned for safety, but not due to our use. I simply don't think another family should have to hang out a window to see if they can transfer lanes. The staff at this location was kind & helpful; but the person in charge of maintaining the fleet needs to step up his or her game. Something as simple as cleaning a mirror doesn't take much effort: however, it is a huge safety measure that shouldn't be overlooked.MELISSA B.
