The truck I rented had not been cleaned prior to using. The actual gas gauge was just below 1/2 a tank not a 1/2 tank like the paperwork said. I put 2 gallons of gas in which I thought would cover the 33 miles I went but I was still charged over 6 $for more fuel. There was one more mile on the actual odometer reading than the paperwork so I was charged an extra mile as well. These are just small additional charges but are annoying just the same.SANDRA B.

1. Make it so that your website works for extending your contract. 2. LET THE CUSTOMER CONTACT THE LOCAL OFFICE BY PHONE, because in 4 HOURS of waiting, and listening to irritating ads for uhaul crap I don't need, NOBODY EVER ANSWERED THE DAMNED PHONE!!!!!!!!!!! This is not in ANY way a reflection on the office I rented from, which is a fine, cohesive and extermely helpful outfit and EXCELLENT! You couldn't convince me that the office I rented from would not answer, they seemed just too responsible as an organization. This is a complaint directed at the U-Haul company and its infrastructure, namely the phone system which is obviously broken. Unfortunately, I have no other means to complain about the company in general, BECAUSE NOBODY ANSWERS THE FRIGGING PHONE!!!!! Thanks very much.Stephen L.

It was very disappointing to go into this UHAUL for the first time to find a very long line and an over stressed single employee. The ones in line including myself, were told that the employee apologized but she had to go and put a hitch on a vehicle and she would be gone about 10 minutes because she was the only employee. This issue needs to be addressed immediately by UHAUL to the manager of this business. by the way, this was a Thursday afternoon.DAWN P.
I had a case of sticker shock when I saw that my final bill was over $90 (was expecting like $65). Also, not sure what I get for the $5.00 safe fee, especially since I purchased coverage. I had no issues with The facility at all... It was a great clean well maintained spot... The issue that I had is with the truck itself ....I moved in the snow and I fell off the back of a truck because of the slickness of the steel so maybe you can put grips on the back of the trucks... the steps and right where the latche is for the door... because I'm sure I'm not the first to slip off the backGordon H.
There was a discrepancy in the mileage between the reservation system and the actual vehicle. The staff made a note and resolved the mileage when the vehicle was returned. I would recommend improving realtime mileage reporting for accuracy and reduced cycling at the rental locations.Michael H.

I am very unhappy with the fact that I was charged for gas when I refilled the gas to a little above where I got it from. I only drove 28 miles and I put 4 gallons of gas back in the vehicle and was charged for 6 more gallons. The receipt stated I returned the vehicle at 8:57 pm, which I did not I returned it at 6:42pm. If it takes 10 gallons of gas to drive 28 miles then your vehicles need to be serviced because that is ridiculous. I will not continue to use uhaul which I have used a several times in the past.Stephanie P.
