I checked in my vehicle with the front desk. They told me I was all set since truck was in the return line. They then failed to check in the vehicle for over half an hour and it caused me to be charged double since it was consider late. It was fixed in the end.

Appliance dolly was reserved but not available so I had to track one down at another Uhaul location 8 miles away. Was charged for SaveMover even though I declined. Woman at check in was cordial to me but rude to another customer doing a quick drop off.

Iâ€™ve previously had good experiences at this location, however the employee working this evening never acknowledged me waiting in my truck upon return. The person I had helping me move went in to ask what to do, and the employee said to wait with the vehicle and he would come out. Over 10 minutes later, he had not gotten up from the counter, and when I walked in to speak to him, he told me to just leave the vehicle, which I could have done 20 minutes earlier had I known.

LMy first recommendation is to NOT waste your time dealing with staff at the Colmar store and instead head to Horsham. We had reserved furniture dollys at the Colmar store since it was closest to our location. When we arrived, we were ignored while 2 associates continued their private conversation while we waited. When someone finally appeared to help us, it took several minutes for him to navigate the computer screen before he asked for my credit card when at that point he was charging twice the amount for the rental than what was advertised on the wall behind him. After asking about the incorrect amount, we were informed that they did not have any furniture dollys and that we would need to travel in the opposite direction to another U-Haul facility. Two hours later (a task that should have taken 45 minutes), we were able to begin our move. Prior to heading to Colmar, we noticed that the location had only a 2-star rating and now we understand why.....

I arrived at uhaul Monday morning 12/23/19 at 8am. My box trailer was not there to pick up, which I had ordered back in july. I was supposed to pick up the uhaul at the Feasterville location. I went to the Feasterville location at 8am on 12/17/19 to confirm that my uhaul box trailer would be there on December 23, 2019. They assured me that it would be there for me. When I arrived on December 23 at 8 am my trailer had been rented out on Saturday the 21st. The associate at the counter then checked other locations and found one at the horsham location. I then had to go to Horsham to pick up the box trailer, which was NOT where I was supposed to pick it up at, making it inconvenient for me. My previous estimate from online was for $512. When I arrived at the horsham location I was told that the new price would be $826. I paid the amount of $826 because I needed the box trailer that day. On my way back to load the box trailer, I recieved a call from Glenn Side Uhaul that the box trailer was at that location. I was never informed of this change. After loading the trailer I went back to the uhaul in Feasterville. When I got there I was informed that my reservation had been cancelled thru uhaul. I did NOT cancel this reservation. I asked the Feasterville rep if he could bring up my reservation from july. He told me that the reservation was there and that it would cost $512. At 3pm, I called the 1800 number and told the gentleman, Reed, that I was disputing the $826 charge, and would like the $314 credit. He then told me that he would forward this claim over to his supervisor. My original confirm number is as follows 92771829 In November they also made me take my truck back over since I had just bought a new truck, and they told me the truck was fine for pulling the bow trailer. The same rep had looked at my truck in November, confirmed my reservation on 12/17/19 AND was there the morning of the 12/23. As you can see this has been nothing but a hassle. This is unacceptable for any business. Please contact me ASAP. If someone reserves a truck for a particular location they should be sooner than the day before that it won't be available there.

When I rent U-Haul the vehicles are always new or in new condition. I never have to worry about break downs or tire failures, which I have had with Avis.

Seems like it really depends on who you ask because the answers will be different. I'd like to see some consistent responses and more customer friendly mentality. I have been using U-Haul for all of my 4 moves and this experience was not the most pleasant.

I was late to pick up my snow blower and the attendant was courteous and quick in getting me registered and the trailer I rented hooked up to my car. Returning the trailer was no problem either.

When I asked for an emergency phone number in case the truck breaks down on the road, I was told 1. It's on the website. And 2. They do not have it at that location. How am I supposed to access the website from I-95? Also, it is hard to believe that this information is not readily obtainable at a U-Haul location. It should be part of the standard information package provided to every equipment renter!
