I always rent from the Illinois location (2-3 times per year for the last 12 years) and they changed it 2 days prior to a site in a poor side of town far from my initial location. The truck was on empty (i have photos) they said it had more than half a tank. No back-up camera, driver door would not close completely and several maintenance alerts on dash for service. Truck was clean though...definitely not well maintained. I want my money refunded at least for the gas you will try to charge me for.

Comment U-Haul Fonctionnement des avisI had a reservation for 4:30. No one was at the office, no one set up the lock box code to get the key since they weren’t there. Was on the phone for 45 minutes trying to get everything figured out. In the meantime it started to rain, which I was trying to beat bc I needed to move a couch down the stairs. I was still charged as if I rented the uhaul and I never even received the keys nor got a uhaul.

Dominique BThere was no dolly provided that was requested. Also there was a large piece of carpet/run left in the back and was at one point soaked in urine. The smell was horrible. I left the rug/carpet on the property. The location was closed before their posted business hours was just not a good experience.
