The business is very seedy-looking when you drive in. It sets off in the back, and you don't know if it is a barber shop, a bail bondsman, or a lawyer's place. There are so many businesses running out of that business. I am all for being an entrepreneur, but at least be good at the U-Haul thing. The U-haul sign is very small - This U-haul business does not look like the other U-hauls I have been to. Either the guy wants to do U-Haul or cut hair or practice law or whatever else he is advertising. He should act like he cares when he has a U-Haul customer in his presence. I am thinking about suing this company for the egregious neglect and emotional trauma placed on my family's life. It's a terrible way to run a business. The guy was cutting hair when I arrived. I have no problem with that, but he acted like I was bothering him. I had to wait and then get some information. He then had me back up my car in a tight spot with a U-Haul truck in the way. He did not help my friend hook up the transport. I was missing a piece for the lights and blinkers. He told me once I got that, I was good to go. He hopped in his car and left. I was expecting him to hook up my car to the transport. He did not. He drove off and left me to fend for myself. I told him I was moving to New Mexico and driving from Mississippi. My whole life was with me in this move: my 80-year-old mother and two dogs. Both front tires were not strapped down on the auto transport. The front chain was not on the auto transport on the A-arm. The back chain that was supposed to go to the rear end was missing, and the trailer coupling was bent to the right. I also had two flat tires on the back. When I made the reservation for the transport, I was assured that he would hook up my car to the transport. He neither offered nor did so, he just left me to fend for myself. I was never offered a business card or anything. It was an uncomfortable and long 14-hour drive. The car seemed to be moving on, and the transport was sometimes weaving back and forth. My life was in this man's hands. I was told on the phone that he would hook up my car- he just left. I would never recommend this man; he is a poor representation of U-Haul. I am thinking of suing this company for emotional distress and trauma—poor representation of U-Haul. I will call the company's president, Joe, in Phoenix. I was very disappointed in the service, how I was treated, and the equipment I was renting. At the very least, I should get my money back.

Ursula AIt was ok but didn't like the fact that I was told that I would get my deposit by mail, after I did my return.. I was told different when making my purchase..
