I would not use the pick up place ever again. The lady wasn't any help when i had a break problem on our truck. I was pulling a uhaul trailer. She told me to call road side assistance. I only wanted a number to call so I could drop the trailer in a different location. However, I would rate the place I dropped off the trailer above and beyond. He only had uhaul 2 days and knew more than the fla location. Drop off point gets 2 thumbs up.

I would recommend this location because of the great service by Antonio and Josephine. However - I have a problem with your billing. I rented a van for a few days with return date of September 27, at which time the van was returned. My on-line account indicates I rented the van for three more days ending October 1 - a $125 charge. I did not request use of the van for three more days. Just saying!! We are dealing with a rep at this time and hope this can get solved.

Please explain the after-hours drop off process when the customer is scheduled to bring the truck back after-hours. It was VERY annoying and aggravating to complete this process without warning.

This is not the location we made reservations at. We have been renting 6'X12' trailers every 6 weeks of so for 10 years at the Beach Blvd. location. I went to pick up the trailer we had reserved 3 weeks earlier and noticed none in the yard. The manager said my pickup location has been changed but, since they wrote our e-mail address down wrong, we were never notified of the change. For some reason, U-Haul thinks that they should be able to tell customers where to pick up equipment. Reservations mean nothing. This is not the first time this has happened. Get rid of the national phone number and use location numbers and have the equipment at the location the reservation was made for. We are, after all, the customer. How U-Haul does business now is terrible. Every time I rent, there is a different manager. They can't keep employees either. Most are rude or, at the very least, indifferent to customer's needs. Terrible company but the only one that carries trailers. Makes we wish Jar-Tran had stayed in business.

The parking lot is ridiculously small... I had to illegally park in a handicap spot just to go inside to find that the attendant was nowhere to be found. I stood in there for a solid 10 minutes yelling for someone, I finally went outside to leave and an attendant came strolling up. Once we finally got everything sorted out and done with I found out our ridiculous price... 19.99 seemed so awesome! Then the .99 per mile was added on... we haD to drive a totally of 60+ miles to retrieve our new couch. The attendant was rude and mumbled everything resulting in me gettin frustrated and having him repeat himself. We got to the part of the agreement for gas and I was told it would be 4.25 per gallon... that's ridiculous! We were desperate to go get our couch and needing a vehicle to do it so we took the keys and got it over with. The vehicle was in good condition and the couch fit perfectly but never again will I use this company. I am beyond blown away with how poorly I was treated and how insanely priced it was. Never again.

the only negative thing is we had to wait for one of the reps to move another rental truck in our rental truck's way so that we could begin our moving process...it took 20 minutes or a little bit more for us to finally get going so I think if it weren't for that we could have beat the rain but once we got to our 'move' location it started pouring in the middle of our moving process...to the rep's defense, that Sunday was particularly busy with people who were moving and were bringing back trucks but we were all anxious to get going and we couldnt just leave...we had to bring the truck around to my unit to unload it first before we could take it to my new place and unload it...I told the rep I was emptying my unit before we rented the truck but I don't think he was listening or he just forgot so he parked it inconveniently in a place we couldn't just turn it around ourselves...instead we had to wait for him to move the other truck blocking us before we could even start our process....other than this, everything after that was fairly quick and painless. The units are good...I feel like the AC doesn't work very well or its not very high and the lights don't turn on by themselves..you have to reach into your unit and make sure you don't put anything in front of the light to block it otherwise this is not possible. Also, parking here is hard because of the small area and possible trucks blocking your way...it's why we had to wait for the rep to move the truck in front of us so we can move around to our side of the facility. The way in/out of the facility is done through card and you have to physically get out of your card to scan it...you don't have space between the scanner and your car to do it through your window...on the way it is the same...I understand entering but exiting? You should just be able to leave without a scan..instead you have to honk to get the rep's attention to let you leave and open the gate especially if you already cancelled your unit and returned your key..yeah, some of this was annoying if not inconvenient. Other than that, it was an Ok experience....rates weren't bad and it was close to where I needed to go..if you can deal with the things I mentioned then having a unit and moving for a day in/out isn't going to kill you. They were still courteous and fairly efficient at their jobs. It was a very busy day so they could have done worse.

Make sure Mr Chris handles all customers. He's a one man do it all type of guy. I had an issue for about a week with uhaul. HE stepped in and made my trip to jesup Ga one way such a blessing. He's a great asset to uhaul. Keep him around for life....m payne

When i went to return the vehicle, the gate was locked (which was 10pm). I had to wait for them to open the next business day. I was charged a late fee and it was an inconvenience but other then that the experience was fair. I opted into the "do it yourself" option and it was very smooth. If you are reading this, make sure you have all of the necessities prior to choosing the "do it yourself" option.
