Store needs to hook trailers up to customer vehicles. During check out I was told I had to hook the trailer up myself. I responded, " oh I thought it was the stores your responsibility to hook trailers up". After I attached the trailer to my truck I wasn't confident that it was connected correctly so I traveled via back roads to the store on North Oak (Church Rd Store no longer there) to make sure hook-up was correct before heading MICHIGAN. It WAS NOT. Good thing I went to the North Oak store and had that the checked. I could have killed, myself, my wife, or innocents motorists if that trailer would have broke free of my truck at highway speeds on the way to Lambertville, Michigan. The failure of this store to correctly hook the trailer up cost me about a two hour daily leaving the city. Choose a store near my route so I could pick up and hit the highway. I will probably never rent another Uhaul so obviously I would not recommend one to someone.

A little confusing that it was located in a hotel with out any clear signs to inform where to go. I just went in to ask if they knew and then found out I was in the right place.
BOBBY RI originally was supposed to get the truck and keys from a place called Vp in pleasant valley, however no keys were in the lock boxes so a lady from U-Haul found another place and upgraded the truck, I went to this location after signing my contract and everything I just needed the keys! This woman here tried to have me sign a new contract, lied claiming they didn’t have a 26,20foot truck claiming I could only get a 10ft! Which was not what I paid for nor needed, I called U-Haul and got another lady who stayed on the phone and spoke to this woman and told this lady to hand the keys over she didn’t need me todo anything for her! The lady at this location told me that even if I put gas in the truck she would still charge me for mileage on top of the charges I was already paying!!!! The people are U-Haul were fantastic but this people who hand keys out are scammy! And sketchy! It makes U-Haul look bad! If y need more details please contact me
