When I rented the truck, the tank was at around 5/8ths. I drove 70 miles and added $45 in fuel to the truck. When. I returned the truck at the same fuel level, I was charged $70 because their records said it was at 7/8 of tank.
I love how easy it is to rent and return during COVID. The truck was super cleaning easy to drive. This location is by far the best when it comes to customer care.

When I picked up the truck it only had close to 3/8ths tank of gas. I had to fill it, before leaving town. When I returned it they changed me $$90.00 for not filling the tank.
Do not ask me all the same questions that I filled in doing online check-in. U-haul could learn from avis, its basically the same thing.
I have been treated great by the uhaul staff. Other than some lady that called me 2 weeks ago when I reserved a truck and trailer online. When she found out I work for Home Depot she turned very rude. She told me Uhaul couldn't help me. But everyone at store level has been great.

Im a mechanic, and I know the equipment that I send out of my shop is safe when I am ready to send it on the road. When I asked the manager of this location if he knew when the last time this trailer had any maintenance done on it, he did not know. He did not even know if anyone had checked the tire pressures on the trailer. I'm loading a very high dollar motorcycle on a trailer, and no one can answer simple questions about the equipment they send out on a daily or weekly basis??? It's even worse when it's the manager and they have no clue. I took the trailer home myself and checked it over before loading it, including checking the tire pressures which both were low by almost 15 psi on each side. How about having each piece of equipment that you send out be checked by a certified technician before it leaves so that you know it's safe for not only the customer, but for everyone else that is traveling on the roads. Just a thought from a mechanic who actually gives a damn.

The staff was extremely helpful and kind. I accidentally went to the wrong truck (I did contactless pick-up). They had to take care of rearranging my reservation and getting me the new truck. I felt terrible about my mistake. They were incredibly patient and made me feel like it was no big deal. I will definitely use this location again.
Excellent service and very personable
I complained to the manager (Adam) at this location about the horrible experience I had at the pick-up location (which was different than originally selected) and with customer service over the telephone. He seemed to not really care and complained to me about being short staffed and how he was there by himself basically 6 days a week and could not find help. He said there was nothing he could do about how bad my service was and the inconvenience and $ it cost me to be delayed for 2 1/2 hours on the pick up. After talking with him for about 30 minutes, he finally said he could credit my account $50 on his end and he would not be able to submit a customer complaint on my behalf because the issue had been resolved. Or, he said I could take it up with the original pick-up location, it would take time and I may not get anything. I was tired of the whole mess so I accepted the $50 credit, which I think he expected me to do to just go away. So there was no formal complaint entered into the company's system. How can internal customer service matters be addressed if there is nothing in the system indicating what experiences customers go through? Very disappointed in this whole company from prior to pick-up to drop off!!!
This was the first time that I was asked to provide THREE (3) separate contact numbers, including a 3rd â€œemergencyâ€ Contact. If I refused to provide the contacts, I couldn't rent the vehicle. This is 100% unnecessary. There needs to be the option to decline to share additional contact information. If there is, that option was not mentioned and refused. This is unacceptable. U-Haul does NOT need 3 POC for me to rent a simple truck for 3 hours that I'm returning to the same location.
Get your shit together. The place I rented this trailer from could not find this drop off location in their system. I was told I could drop off the trailer to this location without any issues. Once I dropped off the trailer (early) I was surprised by a wrong drop off location fee. I argued this and it was stated that a manager would remove the charges and I would get a receipt via email. I then received two email receipts stating the wrongful drop off charged to my card. I can't believe you run a company that has employees lying to customers and then charging them for doing what they were told to do. If these charges don't get refunded, I will not be using U-Haul again and I will be informing all friends and family to do the same. Don't even get me started on how I have a credit at U-Haul and tried to use it multiple time through this process and it looks like it still didn't get used for this rental.
