Do daily checks on the trucks like oil, gas,battery life, etc I had a bad experience with the truck I rented because there was no maintenance done on the truck

All my interactions were professional, efficient and courteous. I reserved a vehicle by phone, got the vehicle at the store location and returned the vehicle with very little of my previous time involved in the process. I'm very impressed with all aspects of this location, staff and vehicle.

I thought I was getting a 20 foot truck, not a 26 foot truck. Big difference in price. Also, passenger front tire was very low and I had to point out to get fixed.

Truck leaked ... I told attendant that some of my things were lightly damaged and he just stared at me and said we will look for the leak.

Our tow dolly was at a different location, the agent at Uhaul where the dolly was (Akron, OH) made sure our dolly went to where our truck was so that we didn't have to go to 2 different locations. I didn't get the young man's name unfortunately but thank you so much!! Moving day is stressful enough! GP

The Kent location was Excellent. The Ravenna location did not have the type of truck I needed, but the web site let me rent my truck there. I went to Ravenna to pick up my truck and they told me I had to go to Kent to get it. He told me I should have gotten a text message. I found the text, but the 2 U-Hauls are on the same road and small towns usually share names. The text should have told me Ravenna didn't have my truck, or, U-Haul should have driven my truck to Ravenna, or, U-Haul Corporate should change the web site so truck availabilities are listed. The Kent location deserves 5 stars, but U-Haul Corporate screwed that up. When I signed-up on line, the site didn't tell me Ravenna didn't even carry the size of truck I wanted, or offer the service I needed. Changes HAD to be made to my order - changes that cost me extra driving, extra gas, and extra time. Then, like you could care less about the inconvenience you caused me, or the extra distance back to my house from Kent, you charged my card another $0.04 for slightly exceeding your estimate of my drive. I will tell a friend to call U-Haul locations directly, avoiding heartless, uninformed U-Haul Corporate.

Was told itâ€™d be 33$ for an extra day. In the end it was more like 94$. I mean really. Not happy about that at all

The back door had difficulties opening all the way and the door lifts up quickly. So quickly, my hand ended up getting stick in the lock which left me with a slightly less than 1 inch cut over the back of my hand. This isn't anything that required medical attention beyond keeping it clean at this point. But driving a U-Haul is stressful enough and having my hand throbbing as I left the parking lot didn't help. Also, the truck was parked in the wrong spot. Not the end of the world but 10 mins that was wasted when I was on a time crunch, given I had inspected the wrong Uhaul, was less than ideal; then proceeded to have to wait in line again to clarify why the truck key wasn't working. My suggestion would be allow the customer to get the key first, check the millage and fuel then have them check the outside. Make a disclaimer at the top on read that the inspection has to take play on the lot or it is nulled. And when you take the pictures of the outside condition make them use the location identifier. Just an idea. None of this would lead me to not rent here again, but I did find it to be rather frustrating in a scenario that is already stressful.

Company mainframe computer system did not work well and caused a 55 minute wait for me to get my truck. The employee was trying his best but the system just did not work.
