Comment U-Haul Fonctionnement des avisAs an empty lot it hardly proves inviting and there wasn't really much room to do the post trip pictures though we managed. The location of the key drop off is not in the lot nor attached to the gate but the warehouse that is apparently part of the property. Not exactly "intuitive".
Victor OI requested an in person pickup, the location where I received the truck from was remote only. I waited several minutes before contacting customer support. Then I had to create a login and remote check out the truck which took away 40 minutes of my day. Then the hand truck that I had requested with the truck was not included. I was informed that I wasnt charged, but this was a piece of equipment I was depending on, I then was forced to run to a store, purchase the equipment before I could begin my move which took another hour. The truck was in good working order, but garbage was left inside the cab. When I was complete with my usage and went to return the truck, I specifically went to a location where there would be staff to assist for an in person return. I was quickly informed that I could only return the truck to the location which I received it from and the lady working at the in person location was very rude and disrespectful. I contacted customer service again, and my issue with my reservation was addressed and I was informed that the credit for $50 would be applied (which I didnt see) and was assisted by the Scheduling District Manager who changed my location to accomidate me. I will check again, but as far as im aware UHAUL owes my $50 for my reservation being wrong. I will not be using UHAUL again in the future, the company has fallen far from what I remember and I regret this experience.
